Can't enable stereoscopic rendering?
Hi there, the stereoscopic option is unavailable to me, I can’t activate it. I’m running the game on a AMD Radeon 7870. Is it only available on Nvidia ?
Thanks.
I have the same problem. The checkbox is greyed out.
I’m using an ATI Radeon 5700 on a windows 7 PC, and I’ve tried this with and without the Tri-D 3d drivers.
The Tri-D Software CAN force Guild Wars 2 to render in 3d, via whatever dark magic it uses to render non-3d games in 3d, but even then, the checkbox is still greyed out (and many of the graphical effects dont render properly).
I had this effect on beta 306 drivers. I downgraded back to 304 and it worked out for me.
Also I suspect (not 100% sure though) a game currently supports only nVidia stereoscopic solution (3D vision), thus other methods might not work.
I can confirm however, that using a 3D vision solution the game works fine with the nVidia glasses and with anaglyph (red\cyan) cardboard glasses.
this option is only available on nvidia cards
Ah crud, so I guess we just have to cross our fingers and hope Anet expands this. They’re probably got their hands full right now, too. Good this this game is gorgeous in 2d anyway.
For me all I had to do under graphics option is change the Refresh Rate to 120 and 3d worked for me. Before I did that, every time I tried to load with 3d turned on it would give me an error about direct x
Oh, and I’m not using an ati card. Nvidia so not sure if it would work with any other. Just figured I would post in case someone with a nvidia card came to check.
