Cant log in as main character

I would like you to try a command line argument we have seen resolve this type of issue.
Please go to your shortcut for Guild Wars 2 and right click it and choose properties.
In the line that says Target, add a space at the end of whats there and then -prefreset
It should look something like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -prefreset
Click apply and then ok.
Once the above is done, try launching the game and logging into the character you are having issues with. If this resolves the issue, go back into your shortcut again and remove the -prefreset line.

This is an issue with BT. That prefreset thing only just resets all your settings it wont do jack. If you want to help how about you get in contact with BT and tell them to stop throttling half your UK Customers. Sorry to vent but this has been happening for a week and anet has not responded in any way. If you read the network lag forum you can see loads of people with problems.
I logged out after getting a vista in caldedon forest a few hours ago. I came back on and now it ‘loads’ caldeon forest for about 5 mins before saying ’ the game client lost its connection to server’. I can log in as other characters but not my main. Ive restarted my pc and my router but to no avail. Any tips welcome. Thanks.
