Q:

I am able to log in and reach the champion selection screen, however after this point when selecting a character the game will stay in the loading screen until eventually the game crashes and I receive a code=7:11:3:191:101 error message.

I have already restarted my modem multiple times, and made sure all firewalls are off/down. I am able to play other games, and was able to play GW2 this morning. Just since the increased traffic this early afternoon I am no longer able to enter game. Are there any suggestions/help available?

Hey, just to help you out until someone officially fixes this – my girlfriend is having the same problem (I found your post googling for answers to her issue!) For her, it’s only effecting her thief and she was able to log in on another character. Try that, might get you in for now just not on the class you wanted!

Yeah, I found the same thing. I can’t log onto my mains who are both in the Wayfarer Foothills. I was able to make a new character in the Metrica Province. Must be something to do with player congestion in that area.

I have the exact same problem, even to the point of having all of my toons blocked at differents maps (that happened last night), and I was forced out of the game since I could not log into any character…

I have asked anet to assist me, but so far customer support is failing to solve it, they blamed my network first, then they blamed my pc, and now they asked me to fix the gw2 client.

Nothing of the above worked.

This is a more than 2 month old issue, and chances are it wont be solved in the near future. Enjoy Guild Wars 2.
