Guild Wars 2

So I played the game fine before the patch, last night up until early this morning. Today, when attempting to open the game, my downloader has remained perpetually stuck at Downloading 0kb (0kb/sec). For a split second it said it was downloading something, but then it just stopped. And no matter how long I wait, it doesn’t change from “Downloading 0kb (0kb/sec)”. I can’t even get to the launcher, I’m stuck at the downloader.

I’ve tried pretty much anything, running the game as admin, going to an entirely different internet network to try there, restarting, trying to re-install, etc. Is this a server issue? I don’t get it, because my computer ran the game fine last night.

Having the same issue. Tried to launch several times tonight. First couple of times it downloaded some files quickly then went to another download screen that was frozen at Downloading 0 (0). Would close that screen but client stuck, can’t shut it down with task manager. Now I only get the Downloading 0 (0) screen and can’t end client w/o rebooting pc. Tried renaming .dat file to .old and restarting – no success. Tried adding “-repair” to the end of the target line – no success. Looking for some help.

exact same issue I’m having man. Hopefully we can get this resolved soon.

My husband is having this on his machine. We think it was because we swapped out his graphics card.

But today I was playing the new patch on my machine fine – then a few hours ago they had a new build, so I went for a nap and have just finished dinner.

Now I am getting the downloading 0kb screen too.

So upset – at least wanted to get either a wurm or marionette event done tonight

I am having this issue. Already tried disabling firewall and run as administrator.

Had same issue last night with the patch, so didn’t get to play. I left the it on over night and it had finished when I woke up.

Now I come to play & find another 0kb/sec update.

So far this is update is a fail.

I have the same issue, but with some difference: I have two licences. One has worked properly and the game plays flawlessly on my wife’s desktop PC. But when i downloaded and attempted to run the installer on my laptop PC, the same as you described happened. Both PCs are connected to the internet from the same router using the same DNS addresses. So I sent in a ticket which I hope someone would answer.
