So i’ve been able to play guild wars all the way up until this afternoon when the client updated.

At first the client was updating and it was fine, then the DL speed went to 0 and it closed itself. So i tried opening client again and since then I’ve gotten this every time:

Got the same, only diffrence is that it made me blue screen since the gw2 launcer tryed to do something with my directX. ( I set my pc up to blue screen when Unauthorized stuff tries something like that)
However i managed to fix the problem by just downloading – installing the patch again.

Same happend to me except that when I restarted the client it says that I have a connection error… dunno what to do now

I just turned off my Windows firewall AND my Bitdefender firewall and now it is working, Im downloading atm.

I am also using Windows 8, so I don’t know if that makes a difference. So far all the other posts I’ve searched for are from last year or the years before where people were still running Windows 7 or XP
