Guild Wars 2

I’ve quite recently bought a new videocard, an 7970, for my computer. When I am playing GW2 something wierd happens sometimes, please have a look at the pictures I attached. The screen flashes very fast in those colors whenever I move the camera. At some places there are walls of color as you can see. What could be causing this? Do/did you have/had the same problem?

Some notes:

• I have the 13.2 drivers installed (cleaned old drivers before I installed the new ones).
• It only happens outside.
• I have seen it happen in these zones: Holebrak, Lionsarch, Dissea pleau, Kessex hills.
• It disapears if I Alt+Tab in and out.
• It happens rarely.
• It only happens in GW2. I used to have problems in other games but the new ATI drivers solved those.

On pictures 1 and 2 the “fractures” are attacking the screen. On the third picture we see a wall of “fractures” and a line going through the picture.

i suffer same problem with 7950 card.

with 13.2 beta 4 or 13.2 beta 6

it occur rarely but it’s very annoying..

dont know how to fix it…

and when i use 13.1 or old version of drivers..

there’s other gliches (small flashes time to time. once in 5 min or so.)

it’s annoying too.

I have heard of quite a few issues with GW2 and those 13.2 beta drivers.

I personally would stay away from them. Just rollback to 13.1

13.1 driver have another problem.

sometimes small part of texture flicker like in 0.05 sec

Roll back the drivers and wait for the official release, beta drivers are like that a russian roulette. u can also try tweak the graphics settings using radeon pro. I have those drivers on the same card and i don’t have any issue, may be cuz i have my graphics tweaked by raden pro don’t know. The only problem i have with those drivers is when i try to record the gameplay the display driver crashes, only happen on GW2, so again a russian roulette.
