I’m not lost, I know exactly where I am…I just didn’t want to be here right now.
Since the new patches I have not been able to play at all. I can log in to the character select screen but then the game immediately crashes (with the option to send a report to support with a log file)
I have emailed support but they say it’s my ISP, but it looks like an issue from both ends with poor me stuck in the middle.
I use BT in the UK and it seems that I am not the only person suffering since the patches. BT may or may not be classing GW2 as P2P for some bizarre reason.
If it IS my ISP then I wish arena.net would contact them on their players behalf because a few dozen customers won’t amount to a hill of beans to BT but a big gaming company telling BT ‘hey stop messing about with our players’ might go a long way to finding a solution.
Is there any way for arena.net to raise a business to business call to BT to resolve the issue?
