Game Not Running
I am experiencing the same problem as you do T_T
I get no errors, no feedback, the game just will not run. I have been playing just fine for nearly every night since early access. This patch just suddenly killed the game. I have the auto start button checked so it counts down for five seconds but then never starts. The play button is greyed out. Running as admin of course, no firewall issues, the game has been fine since launch. Also no errors display.
same problem for me
Ditto. Patch ran in. No errors. Play button grayed out. Had worked fine for weeks.
I got mine working ^^
i clicked cancel on the email resend button and it launched. the last dozen times i had tried to verify my account it failed so i gave up and ignored it.
Same issue game ran fine pre-patch now – crashes on boot up. looks like something to do with memory allocation? lots of free memory tho.

AFAK, awesomium is web interface api. It’s used by Trading Post.. so why would it crash upon start-up??? I checked with my client (which is working) and awesomium isn’t used during splash screens. Anyway.
go to:
C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Temp and try to find folder called gw2cache -{lotsof numbers and letters}. If you find it, delete it.
-Also, go to Documents/Guild Wars 2 and delete local.dat. (note that this will reset any changes you might have made in the settings so back it up first, just in case).
- Run a repair on the client
-If you have applications such as Steam or Google Chrome open, close them.
Check if it works now by running the client as Admin.
@hitsauce – What did you do to make it work?
XcomCaveRat.4059 thanks – your advice worked. Deleting the Cache folder alone did the trick. Cheers.
