Guild Wars 2

I’m trying to install GW2 so I downloaded the setup file. When I run the setup file it brings up the GW2 patcher screen, does a little download, the patcher then closes itself, another patcher window flashes open and then immediately closes. I do not get any options of where to download the game or anything like that.

I have tried downloading the setup file again but that has not helped me either. Any advice?

I was able to reproduce the issue above from a VM of Windows 7 Ultimate X64 and from a hardware box with XP SP3.

Steps:
Downloaded the setup from,
https://account.guildwars2.com/account/download
Ran the setup from the Desktop
Setup downloads the patcher
Patcher launches then immediately closes
Attempted to run the gw2.EXE from the temp folder
The patcher launches but the download never starts

If you have AVG go ahead and uninstall it. You won’t be able to download the client until AVG is out. I don’t know why, but it must be some kind of conflict with the two types of software. I tried Everything from changing permissions to adding rules to the firewall and even shutting down AVG and my firewall. The second I uninstalled it, the downloader started.
