I have no clue whats going on, I don’t really know much about computers. Can someone help me out? I thought i had the minimum graphic driver, like I can run it fine but for some reason it does some weird black and blue tearings? I also went to see if my graphic driver has an available update but it is already up to date.

here is my Dxdiag.txt can someone tell me what I can do ?

Well, according to your dxdiag, your drivers are not up to date. It’s no guarantee new drivers will fix your issue, but you should head to Intel Download Center and grab the latest drivers.

It keeps saying that it is updated to its best, I guess its not enough to run GW2

This is what your dxdiag says:
Driver Version: 8.15.10.2418
DDI Version: 10.1
Driver Model: WDDM 1.1
Driver Attributes: Final Retail
Driver Date/Size: 6/10/2011 13:16:06, 8292352 bytes
As you can see, your drivers date back to 2011. There are newer drivers available. I am not sure what you’re using to update drivers, but simply go to http://downloadcenter.intel.com and download the setup exe for the new drivers. (Select Graphics > Desktop Graphics Drivers > Intel HD 3000/2000 family > Your Operating System)

Try this Aspire 5750 – Intel Drivers
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
Okay I will try that.

Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
What does that do btw?

Posted by: Alpha Dragon.4576
It updates your graphic card to the latest driver (Intel 8.15.10.2342 date:6/25/2012). Does it fixed your problem?

It gave me a folder with files in them, am i supposed to click on something? Sorry i’m really dumb at this, though when i dowloaded the link it gave me the same result

Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
I saw set-up on the folder and i clicked it, it said that my laptop does not meet the minimum requirements? How is that possible?

I’m really getting frustrated. I don’t know whats going on.

That’s weird, the link is directly from Acer. Anyway you can try to use autodetect software from intel http://www.intel.com/support/detect.htm?iid=dc_iduu

Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
I think so too, I have tried that but the versions i tried to dowload for my laptop seems to say it does not have minimum requirements.

Was it the win7_64_15xxx dated 5/24/2012? Can you try to update the drivers manually? Go to Control Panel → Device Manager → Display Adapter (Should me Intel /HD3000) right click properties then update drivers. Click Browse my computer for Driver software then point it to the Acer folder?

Within the folder it says winvista, I have tried that but it keeps saying that it has the best one already? I don’t believe that it has the best one because its driver is back in 2011.

Sorry I’m at lost atm. You can either use acer updater tools (click on
“Hot!!! New Acer Updater v1.02.3502 " or input your Laptop model/serial number from acer site
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
Yeah i have the updater because I was on the site earlier but, i clicked on it and it said Aspire 5750 (0 Available)

That’s really weird. Even trying to input your serial/laptop model from the search box? I’m seeing Aspire 5750 /Z/G/ZG models and some have VGA intel drivers.
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
Yeah, I have inserted the serial in the search box and it gave me things to download. I arranged them by dates (recent) and they only have 3 that are in 2012, one is including the intel vga driver which i have downloaded
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Alpha Dragon.4576
What are the other downloads? Does it include intel chipsets? or probably bios update?
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
Chipset Intel Chipset Driver 9.2.0.1015 2.5 MB 2011/01/1
whats bios?
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Alpha Dragon.4576
There’s a scroll bar you can scroll down btw. Anyway can you try to update the chipset then try updating the vga.
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
Yeah I know, but that’s the only chipset thats there.

It has the same gfx card (Intel HD graphics 3000).
I cant update drivers via intel, because i have to do it via acer.com.. and I got the latest drivers available on acer. I think it’s weird..

It’s something related to the drivers. Have you tried using subsample/supersample/native?
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: Dark Anubis.8723
Yes I have, nothing made a difference
