Guild Wars 2

I currently cannot log in to Lions Arch on Gandara on my warrior, tried several times but I get stuck on the loading screen for 5+ minutes before I get fed up waiting. If I guest on to a lower pop server, it loads instantly as usual.

Now the weirdest bit is that if I try loading into Lions Arch on another character, it works fine, no lag, it loads within 5 seconds or so. It’s as if the issue is somehow tied into my character. The warrior is also having lag problems in the world events and WvW, which it never used to. I’ve tried exiting LA while guesting, loading back up on Gandara while outside LA and it is fine, try to port inside and back to a the never-ending loading screen…

I’ve got a good connection, fast computer and previously no issues with the game at all up to this week.

Anyone else seeing something similar? I’ve been able to reproduce this over and over, so it’s not a one-off. Will try testing with all of my characters to see if it is just the one that is having this problem.

I had issues loading to Gunnars Hold BL. First I couldn’t from load frostgorge sound zone, but could get to hoelbrak. Then could zone to Dzagnour BL, but would crash going from Dzagnour to Gunnars.

I’m having massive 5-15 sec lag on my lvl 70 elemental everywhere but my lvl 35 ranger hasn’t had any… It goes into combat and all damage comes and goes in 5 second intervals, last npc i talked to took 10 sec to get a response… walking seems to be fine though….

While my elemental is playing im running a continuous ping test against google and I’m not dropping any packets, using specifically the command in cmd: (ping google.ca -t)

My lvl 80 Ranger and lvl 80 Necro often get stuck on lions arch loading screens (currently both stuck) yet my 3 other chars have no problem. Getting really sick of it, spoils the game when i can’t play one of my favourite characters

I’m the same, it’s Lions arch for me, usually only on my lv 80 Necromacner. I also have MASSIVE spell lag in PVP, every other aspect of the game is fine so it’s not anythign at my end.

the PVP thign is doing my head in as chat and movement are working fine it’s just spell lag

I’m also suffering with this issue on several of my characters that are logged in Heart of the Mists & Lion’s Arch. Lag is incredibly high & my connection keeps dropping. Although when I log onto my character that is in Timberline Falls, I get no lag at all & my latency is very smooth.

Still suffering with this problem.

I suffered from the same problem on one of my characters a few months back and it disappeared eventually, unfortunately it has now reappeared and on another freshly made toon. It is at the stage where I can be involved in a medium sized WvW battle or PvE event on one of these two characters and gameplay is impossible, 30sec + of lag, rubber banding e.t.c, I can then log off in the middle, relog onto one of my other toons, fight a similar sized battle and be entirely problem free bar the normal level of skill lag. Any solutions would be very welcome.
