In big events NPC/Players randomly pop up. It isn’t a fps issue it seems server related. This is a big problem in WvW. Anyone else experience this?

same here and for me and every one who i know. Its a huge problem in WvW and i cant even count how many times i died because i jumped at 3 guys and 30 others pop out next to them.

I’ve seen it happen a few times at crowded events. In some situations I will see arrows flying through the air, but not see the source until I move forward several paces.

It’s not part of UOC, unless UOC was only added on 9/1. Since it’s a fundamental component of the engine used for GW2, that’s not possible, therefore the effect can’t be due to UOC. Q.E.D.

It’s also been seen in other games (e.g., WoW, back in vanilla early on when they were doing some engine optimizations), and has uniformly been viewed as a bad decision and reverted.
