I had this a few times. Right annoying. Clear the forum-en.guildwars2.com cookies specifically.

I just had to do this now.

Been like that for me for days too on Firefox. I finally tried Chrome and got here to see this and it worked, thanks. I did use the button Firefox has to clear all cookies earlier because I couldn’t find the setting to look for individual cookies- that is not at all an intuitive menu setup Mozilla’s got there. :/

I had the issue all day yesterday too. Looks like their SSL Cert just renewed, and since your SSL Cookie holds until you clear it (it didnt seem to auto expire as I would have expected) everyone that was affected had kitten mismatch.

Just wish they didnt have such a generic error message on the forums about this.

I’ve had it off and on for several days. Restarting Firefox (didn’t have to clear anything in disk cache) fixed it for me.

I actually googled it at first when it happened and found the solution on the Guild Wars 2 facebook page.

Thanks for the help. I have been clearing all cookies. Had to do it yesterday and today. It seems to work.

I’ve had to do it every single day. It would be nice if it gets fixed soon, as it gets really annoying.

You don’t know just how annoying it is unless you have really bad ping ( ._.)

Just got it on Firefox; had trouble editing a message previously (infinitely stuck at the semi-transparent saving stage), and now can’t post from Firefox at all. Clearing cookies didn’t help clearing them once again and restarting seems to have helped.

Having this issue also on my iPad using Safari. Having posts not go through. The post will fail and say something like, this site isn’t available.

Also having the endlessly cycling edits and strange messages at the top of the forum page, You must be a Moderator to access this page.

Cleared cookies twice, restarted Firefox .. still have the problem .. unable to post a message at the german forums at the moment

This seems to be getting worse (not better). Clearing the cookies does not seem to have any consistent effect on the error.

Very frustrating.
