you are living proof that people actually bother to read these signatures.
I have been seeing the same problem as well, I get randomly disconnected from the game but my Internet connection is fine and am able to immediately reconnect.
I have since updated all drivers on my machine but that did not help.
What seems to have helped was changing my router. I was using my Linksys EA6300 but switched it out for my ASUS RT-AC66U. So far the problem has gone away but I will do some more testing to see what the actual problem is.
I just bought the game today but I cant play because of this error.
I cant even make a character because of this stupid error.
It seems this error started to occur some years ago.. and the tech team of GW2 hasnt fixed it yet? wth;;
