Are tunneling programs allowed, I live in Northern Canada and get terrible ping in game, Ive used Wowtunnels back in the day and it worked wonders.

But as Anet seems to have taken out the banhammer, I would like to verify weather or not you can use such services?

They are allowed, even Anet Moderators on the forum suggested trying them.

I use Pingzapper since last patch (thx to Anet support) and its solve problems with lags, black screens and other random crashes for me. Great program.
