What would your alternative suggestion be to this? That a team of 10 people capture a camp while the rest of the zerg runs up to a tower and stands around waiting for the supplies to arrive?

That would be a pretty sad and bad zerg if 60 people do not have supplies and after a camp only 10 of them would. Are js really that bad?

I dunno about JS, but there is that whole safety in numbers, supply traps and supply draining treb shots, so, y’know, it’s not impossible for the zerg to run out of supply. Unless you know of some mechanic to provide unlimited supply while a zerg is on the move that no one else is aware of.

In the four hours of commanding, we didn’t lose any upgrades (bay, hills, briar, lake and the NW tower on our border were already paper). What we did was take all the upgrades of your fully sieged fully upgraded borderlands and we made it so that it’s going to be a very cappable map in primetime.

Aye, PU mesmers are the 90% of the mesmers I meet in WvW roaming. I met ONE shatter/Phantasm from Jade Sea yesterday, and it was the first I saw in a loooong time, I didnt even stomp him after downing him because he deserved not to die for running a high risk spec.
D/P thieves have drastically decreased. Now most I see are D/D, and those who still use D/P are really, really bad (I can predict and interrupt their BP->HS so easily that the fight lasts 3 seconds unless they have Shadowstep slotted and use Shadow Refuge when they’re losing it).
The number of roaming Warriors has decreased too. I don’t know why. Now only thing I meet while roaming are DD thieves, Condi Engis and PU mesmers. I began to use my thief again because it’s the only class which can handle all of those with ease (I simply flee from condi engis no point in getting condimelted with AoE nade spam).

Every roamer has his own “code”. Some like using brainless builds, with minimal effort required to achieve good results. Some others like a challenge. I, for one, NEVER reset a 1v1 and, as a D/P Thief, NEVER chain more than 1 HS into a BP (unless I’m outnumbered) so my stealth uptime is not long at all, and people who fought me in the OS can confirm this. Only time I would kite a bit is if a warrior pops Berserker Stance. I’d really like to use a Trickery D/P build in WvW but that’s simply not viable because if you have your utilities in CD while you are in a fight and a zerg comes over, you’re screwed.

I like fighting stealth based condi mesmers because they absolutely melt to D/P. Some GOOD mesmers can still be tough to take down, but it’s rare to find a good PU mesmer anyway, they all just hope their clones to do all the work and pop every utility quite early if pressured.

I think the overall attitude of the most “meta-roamers” is what makes people complain and QQ. First it was all about thieves stealthing and resetting. Now you have the uncatchable warriors, the PU mesmers, the thieves “ohmycombodidnotkillhimletsresetthefight”. Pretty ashamed, really.

fyi, I’m a guardian who gets their backsides kicked by mesmers, is about equal with condition engineer and obilterates thieves. So I know the pain of roaming more than most people.

I’ve only seen few x/D thieves outside OS. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, as they eat mesmers pretty easily.

Well we got double blobbed in bl all night not much we could do but sit back and watch it burn, its hard to blob up and focus your defence when everywhere is under simultanious attack, Wouldn’t expect you to understand that you weren’t the only “threat” in our bl though.

Also to the Vcy corporation,Thankyou for providing such brilliant bodies on which to place siege on this evening. Especially at North camp in GH bl. That was alot of fun, especially when your thief roaming group hit our stealth traps for a third consecutive time :p it was very amusing to watch them flee in all directions and get cut down by my waiting guild mates ^^

The Velocity corporation have recently decided to change it’s business model to reflect current market shifts.

After extensive research we have concluded that NPC’s are much easier to fight than players. It took us an extraordinarily long time to realize this (over a year). The reason for this is that we got so caught up in trying to kill real players; working on builds, tactics and seriousness that we completely and utterly lost focus. It took one Ascalon fractals to open our eyes to what we could achieve with just stacking and hitting a gate.

Gone are the days of killing, gone are the days of GvG, gone are the days of seriousness. Hence forth we shall wait till our enemies go to bed so that we can embrace the cold hard wood of their towers.

Long live PPT! Long live the Ascalon fractals!

you popped in with your 50 man zerg 3 times to wipe a waypoint every time out of nowhere with a bunch of superior rams and left the map when we came over to defend / recap.. then you waited till all of our borderland was red again to pop in 30 minutes later and wipe another waypoint out of nowhere. each time we came over to give you a fight you were gone from the map before we had even rallied our troops. so yeah nice pvd.. but only that. not like we could have put up a big fight anyways, we were like 20-30 at best… but you are not telling the truth here… or it wasnt you making the decisions anyways and your hopes were just that.

If you ask for fights when you have a blob, why you complain about guilds holding hands? Slay was alone in vale while GRTS+MM took hills from you, and then the 3 of us grouped to cap ur sieged bay, stop complainning bout guilds holding hands when it happens all the times, As far as that day, the only time that 3 guilds, not 4, grouped, was to cap ur bay, since u had already lost hills to us. After that one time, we didnt group up anymore, cheers on the karma train though, guess we gona have to reupgrade stuff.

Playing the same D/P build who 99% of D/P users share in WvW (myself included, even if I have made a few tweaks to it) is completely not viable in sPvP. And it has been like this since I started playing Thief in June 2013.
Where are the TUP eles? Long time no see them in the OS

Some vcy thiefs today that did some roaming and nice trolling. That was fun.

Resetting the stacks of VcY thieves this evening was fun. Most AG roamers are in the OS anyway. You occasionally jump on the usual Vavume. I even managed to get him to 40% health but couldnt interrupt that Shadow Refuge

You can beat thieves! Impressive! I can’t face any other class at all 1-on-1.

AG pugs are really good. They didnt even drop a rare among the hundreds of lootbags I collected in 2 hours raiding. They really value their things Ö
