Mag made it? Congrats on achieving the goal you set when leagues were announced. I haven’t been keeping up on the rankings.

This will make things a lot more interesting on the match threads and in game because you never know what a wildcard like Maguuma will do.

Most are predicting that things will follow EU’s lead and there will be a classic 1-2-3, 4-5-6 matchup for a warmup before they go straight to providing the most predictable and boring matches in WvW history.

Wait, I was told Mag would have a good chance at winning if we made gold. Was I mislead?

In light of the Tier 1 queue situation in EU, and the expected impact in our League; I’d like to point out that “we lost because of uplevel PuGs” from Tier 1 servers will be result in mandatory mocking by Tier 2 participants.

Before anyone from the T1 server’s decide to talk smack because Mag loses the PPT so bad over the next 7 weeks please know that we did PPT for 1-2 weeks to make sure we got into gold so we could get good fights against good guilds open field or GvG. Not because we want to achieve the top score or get that reward.

So if your someone who lovea to PPT and likes to rub it when you win, please save yourself the trouble of looking like a moron, our PPT has ended for the next 7 weeks. Thx.

We do still get our Dolyak Parades (Handin wouldn’t let some angry BG scrub stop the tradition)… some BG guy got in a huft this morning because some of our guys went out and had fun, may or may not have trolled BGBL Garrison, and BG bird came running to post about it.

The TC guys apparently guessed someone from BG would come running and sure enough, trusty ol Angry BG comes a storming ’hiss you, blast this, you guys wrecked our karma train and such". Really on a friday morning before reset day lol.

… next time just invite us we’re cool kids too. A little stumbling drunk at times, but.. to be expected.

Hey Brother, Good luck on SOR. I don’t think you have a chance at winning league 1 though. JQ has 3 weeks they can coast in, compared to SOR and BG. I just hope Mags ends up winning at this point.

I think you might be a bit confused. Clans don’t bandwagon onto servers at the bottom of their league.

We would have done the same, well we wouldn’t consider TC, but SoS was a possible, or we might have gone to NSP.

That said while it is true that some guilds will make those kinds of moves, I think most transfer folks are there for the winning. Mag at the bottom of gold will get the good kind of transfer, Mag at the top of Silver would have gotten the bad kind of transfer.

True. I just equate the word “bandwagoning” more with the motives of the guild, in this case easy wins, and definitely didn’t see that being related to Mag in any way while we’re in gold. I would have just called them transfers. No biggie.

This is basically what I was saying. I was wondering if there was anyone who came to help out balance things for Mag a little and who wanted to play on the underdog server.

im not to sure about this, the quality and skill of SOS has increased insanely over the last few times we’ve gone up against them and im sure its the same for MAG also. Going up against t1 blobs have made them very versatile players. they could come in a healthy second if they play map politics correctly.

I’d rather get slaughtered for weeks facing t1 than linger in t3. I can’t stress how little happens there. mon-fri there’s no action for mag except for 2 hours a night, and we have more people at those times anyway.

At least we learn from new guilds in gold.

I can’t tell if it was a typo that he called ANet Bioware, or if he’s calling them Bioware as a derogative. The latter wouldn’t really surprise me.

SoS and Maguuma have come into this with eyes open regarding our prospects for the season.
We’re here, because no matter what their excuses or other factors; we were ahead of FA and SBI when this thing started.

Somebody has to be in Tier 2 and we all have better things to do than sandbag for realtively small rewards.

Really? Cuz we’re not getting butchered by TC. Pretty sure these hammer-train-tunnel-vision guys aren’t exclusive to TC either. Lookin forward to the bags. Corpse jumping on carver woulda been pretty nice tho.
