Is there some secret clear target key? I have tried a few different methods but nothing seems to work well. I am a keyboard monkey and really dislike having to find open ground in a sea of red to clear a target.

Don’t even need esc, just click the sky. Unless you’re balls deep inside a blob and there is characters in every single direction, including above you, then you can always click an area. The sky usually works for me =p

Esc sometimes works for me but if I have some other window open it closes it rather than clears target and frequently brings up the game options menu.

Same sort of problem… lately the large group fights create such huge lag that clicking is inefficient and sometimes ends up selecting something unwanted.

This is the first game with targetting I have played that simply doesn’t have a clear target key.

Set a key bind to Lock Auto target. The way the key works, it needs to be held down to function. When released, it clears target. So it basically is the clear target key.
