Figured out a glitch to get into jerrifers yesterday, really easily replicatable. Nothing difficult. Wondering how to report to developers for easy fix? This tower is actually important tower in EBG and I think this needs to be fixed ASAP.

Post how to do it here so everyone know and can use it. Then in 2 months when anet have still not fixed it after everyone has complained constantly about it, those who use it can then claim that it is a genuine and legitimate “tactic” you can use seeing as Anet have not removed it, so stop moaning and use it instead, cos it’s not an exploit cos Anet have unofficially approved it by not removing or fixing it!

send an email to exploits@arena.net with as much description as possible. That’s really about it.

Another option, with screen caps et all, is to directly send a PM to Devon such that it gets to the person who actually needs to read it.

If you do something that’s clearly not intended (like jumping up walls) that would be exploiting. Anet have banned accounts for exploiting, so this is not something I would encourage people to do.

Oh it’s not just jerrifer. chills on top of enemy smc.

I am pretty sure (99%) they already know about this glitch, its not exactly news

Report as /bug, click the “exploit” option.

I’ve reported the phase retreat bug that let’s mesmers go through pretty much anything and it still isn’t fixed on 95% of towers/keeps.

Hope yours doesn’t get abused. Don’t tell people!

If an exploit gets widely known and used, then Anet would be surely be forced to do something about it — right? … whereas if only a few know, then Anet may not see it as a problem and it will never be fixed.

Either way, we all lose.

Pretty sure you can still shadowstep into the back QL too, probly never going to get fixed tho^^;.

Bug? No, it’s a new feature!

Jerrifer’s design is just plain poor, getting in doesnt even require glitching but just regular skill use.

This has been known for at least 6 mths btw.

Its been around since the beginning, jumping over the gate etc. Always been able to do it since I can remember. Most people just aren’t kittens, and choose not to.

This same thing has happened to me today. A small group of 4 or 5 all did it, I literally watched them do it because I found their position to be odd. I am replying now, months later, because I feel it is important to point out it has not been fixed AND is currently being actively exploited, and is easy to replicate. Not only did the enemy team know how to do it, but it also seems our team did too. Jerrifers is one of the towers closest to our keep. It is an important tower to hold and losing it is bad news, to lose it in such a manner while I was fully prepared to defend it on my own makes me mad.

Please fix it, I don’t want to play with cheaters.
