Many resources spent, many areas ignored.
either something is wrong with the corporate philosophy of the individuals in the company have their own focus and power. I doubt WvW devs have as much say or priority as devs in LS

what do we do until something lie EOTM releases some time in the summer? theres almost nothing coming to wvw, I dont even now when wxp is account bound and thats simple quality of life

Anet are sending out confusing messages atm…

First they said pure living story till March then nothing else…

Then apparently a pvp update in Feb…

Now we are going to have a big balance update on the 21st, along with living story…

So until the different teams, people at Anet start talking to each another we have not got a clue whats coming and when really!

But WvW has not been mentioned at all afaik so far…

What? Is that really what they said? No WvW updates until April?

If thats true, I’m sorry I can’t wait any longer, I’m done.

The next “update” is EOTM (hopefully) unless they decide to use season 2 as another filler, I have no idea what I wil l do, already tried the Eso pvp beta and tbh I really dislike you, will check out wildstar but from the gameplay Im seeing i dont think its any good

LS makes money. Given that the game has no sub, it is obvious that they would be placing priority on what makes money.

I just dont know what I will do for several months til EOTM hopefully releases, whats wrong with WvW? why after a year it still doesnt have the focus it deserves and we get more and more of LS

The only mention of WvW that I’ve seen was in that particular interview with Colin that said ~(Paraphased/rough): “Until we fix the issues with WvW, season 2 of the leagues won’t begin.”

Given the CDI threads on WvW discussing the commander/server population/etc, and this statement… at least we know there is some intention to address some ‘issues’. As for time frame, well yeah. April is definitely too far away.

Im not even sure where the month of April for EOTMs release came from, many are probably assuming that it releases sometime in summer or something, in can very well be (based on anets record) that the released will be beyond april, perhaps even June while anet continues to “test” EOTM and linking the servers with their tiny team, Meanwhile LS has new enemies, new bosses and I bet (another) new map

totally agree with the OP.

The dev team working on WvW must be ridiculously small compared to the one working on LS.

Ppl say “hey, Eotm is coming, don’t worry, it’s gonna be fun !”…… But no, just no. Eotm was announced in October. If they release it in April, that makes 7 months of work just for ONE MAP.
During the saison 1, they said “we won’t make change because we don’t want to disturb the match-ups”. Ok, sounds legit. But now ?? Still no improvements ?

It has a positive side though, no updates means no stuff that kittens things up even more
