at the moment; the only thing that does more more confusion damage than a PU mesmer is the third matrix movie.

I would love to see a new ranged weapon. At the moment, all it takes to defeat a guardian is to kite it, the guardian can’t do a thing about it. A longbow being added would be fantastic.

Main things I would like to see changed for dps guardian:

• Longbow being added as a ranged weapon.
• Scepter 1 speed being increased to make scepter a viable ranged weapon in duels
• Judges Intervention/ Merciful becoming a ground target
• Focused mind trait gives better fury duration (4 seconds, seriously?)
• Contemplation of purity giving proper boons for each condition and the boons unable to be stripped for their duration. I cant be the only getting tired of getting all my boons taken off and replaced by conditions.

Vizu/SFR are populated by zerg trash. I have yet to meet a decent player.

I try and avoid commenting on other people’s matchups, but I couldn’t resist this little gem. You say that VZ and SFR are zerg trash, but when AG last fought RS, you blobbed us constantly (while we were attacking Drakkar lake) and hid in T3 towers while firing superior acs at us. On top of that, your forum warriors vigorously denied all of this despite evidence through prints screen and the MOS website clearly showing what RS had been doing.

Vizunah however, they had some excellent roamers and were great fun to fight.

Great, now warriors are going to get buffed again now that someone’s said they’re weak

I think that if toughness worked against conditions and there was a condition limit (say around 5 conditions) conditions would be a lot more balanced.

Getting rid of immobilize stacking would be a good start.

Confusion would be more balanced if it got removed once it caused damage.

Weakness + blind should be removed entirely imo.

personally, I can’t stand the thought of being blue, the keep is easily contested, umber can easily be taken and durious is unable to be trebbed from the keep, the two red towers closest to them are almost impossible to take (ogre and veloka), red have the hardest tower to take in the game (veloka), all of their towers can be trebbed from their keep and they can even treb SM from their keep without worry of having people try and take their trebs down. Green is easily the best to play as.

I’m almost always solo roaming, but most of the roaming is running away from large groups of gankers.

Anet, you almost got it perfect with this weeks matchups, just swap AG for Kodash next week, that would benefit everyone. just so you know Gandara and FSP, AG wants to fight you!

I would love to be able to team up with Gandara, AG and Gandara are really similar servers, I would love to fight alongside them.

Actually, if you look at the first post, your guild raids aren’t farming pugzergs; they’re farming me…

and anyway, farming me is more of an achievement than farming RS pugs.

here’s how to actually take thieves down (based on what I know about professions)
mesmer: use illusionary counter and stay out of the thieves way using stealth, then use illusionary counter again while spamming illusions.
guardian: binding blade and whirling wrath + relentless attacks
ranger: run away and have a guardian/ warrior save you.
thief: sit and wait until they’re not in stealth, then backstab

warrior: if you see a thief, go afk and get a drink, come back 5 minutes later and decide to check facebook. Then click on guild wars 2 and start checking what’s happened while you’ve been gone, once you’ve done this, spam /laugh a few times then whack the thief with a hammer twice and jump up on down on their corpse while the healing signet regenerates all of your health that the thief took down (about 5000)

Thank you for that positive feed back, I’m presuming it’s positive because I can’t understand what language you are attempting to speak.

Yesterday I finally achieved my champion paragon title, but now I have nothing else to do with my guardian, I look around hotm and so many people have got champion titles. It doesn’t really help to separate the good from the bad, it just separates the decent from the bad.

So I guess what I’m asking here is for a new set of titles to be added in; legendary titles. They would require 500 wins with a pug team as the profession; I have nothing to do in tournaments at the moment, I’ve pretty much maxed out my skill as a guardian and I really don’t have a goal to work towards.

I need something to show that I’m good at playing my guardian, the champion title just won’t cut it, so many people have gotten it from grinding with their guilds, I haven’t done that at all, I’ve been a part of pug teams throughout. It would really help to show if someone’s good at their profession or just a grinder.

request to BB, pls drop in points low enough so that you’ll be in the same league as AG and Gandara, that way, we’re almost guarenteed to be matched up.

I have seen the videos of tap dat mouse, for me, they are a work of fiction, the guy doing the videos has obviously taken out the confusion spammer and long distance cripple fights. Confusion is my main weakness, simply because the condition removals I have on usually remove it last, so I take a horrendous amount of damage from one condition while I’m ironically trying to get rid of the kitten thing, the condition spammer just carries on spamming more conditions that get removed before confusion does.

The second most annoying fight for me as a guardian that I keep getting are fights where they just keep their distance and spam cripple/ chill. Sure the sword/ greatsword combo has decent mobility, but that doesn’t usually counter a ranger spamming cripple while keeping their distance. These rangers usually spam other conditions (mainly bleed) as well, so I’m forced to use my condition removal to keep myself from being spammed to death.

The worst part is: these rangers almost always show up during a fight or with another player, I can take out these rangers on their own, but when I’m having to watch my back at the same time, I just can’t win. Seriously, I cannot find those rangers alone.

Anyway, my point is; I would love to see Tap Dat Mouse dealing with a perplexity rune user (preferably mesmer) and/or a cripple + bleed spamming ranger, it would be much more realistic that way.

btw, did either MS or GH see the golem army I organised the making of? AG used the golems to get into SM. Truly a tale to be told through the ages, maybe by minstrels siniging.

At least that’s what it feels like. Considering the consistent stranglehold this class has had on all aspects of the game since launch it receives surprisingly little complaints. I guess it’s because in 1v1 scenario, which everyone bases their assessments on, Warriors seem ok.

But while it was fair to complain about Thieves displacing all other damage dealers in sPvP it has never been an issue that Warriors, since the dawn of this game, have been the uncontested bunker class.

Nothing comes close to Warriors in this role and everyone seems to be ok with it. Why? Have we become so complacent that we simply accept this as a rule of the game?

All all other roles up for grabs (roamer, point-fighter etc.) except for mid-bunker? Have we given up trying to see class diversity in this role?

Or what about WvW where 60-70%….sometimes even as many as 60% of classes are made up of Warriors. Warriors that turn themselves and their team-mates into nigh-unkillable blobs.

Warriors by themselves also seem to negate the entire power of conditions in large scale battles, conditions which normally dominate any smaller scale encounter.

Or let’s talk about PvE where Warriors seem to cover 80% of the support a group might need. Sure, you might take a Mesmer for more reflects or an Elementalist for damage but when it comes to defensive support a Warrior is all you could ever ask for. The 1-stop carefree package to any PvE trip you might have planned.

In any other MMO having so much (defensive) power culminating in a single class would be considered game-breaking. And it is.

And yet in Guild Wars 2 this seems to be perfectly acceptable.

Warriors do have 20.000 crits and other obvious “in your face” imbalances that might spark QQ on the forums. But if you ask me they are probably the single most broken class in the game, simply because of all the defensive and group utility they have accumulated in themselves.

I fixed it for you.

These are my opinion, I’m not saying these are right, this is just my opinion from what I’ve seen lately.

Need nerfing dramatically:
Warriors of all kinds (at the moment they have: best healing, best mobility, best armour, second best damage (thieves have first), one of the best at zerging, they even have a brilliant condition build) they’ve needed nerfing for several months now and they seem to be getting buffed more and more each patch. Not to mention they have a health pool that looks like it belongs on Zhaitan.

Need nerfing:
PU mesmers (I run one as my second character and they definitely need nerfing)
Dhuumfire necros (full bar of conditions is just too much)

Just fine:
Thieves of all kinds (although thieves should have less armour if they’re going to have so much stealth)
Guardians of all kinds (although they’re terrible at roaming they make up for it at zerging)
Engineers of all kinds
all mesmers apart from PU

Need buffing:
Elementalists of all kinds
All necros apart from Dhuumfire (preferaby with more stability)

Need buffing dramatically:
Rangers

I would rather have Mighty Meak as the pact leader instead of Trahearne
