Guild Wars 2

Thank you, yes, I just finished and watched an artistically amazing cut-scene. It makes me wish I’d started GW2 a few months earlier so I could see what this was all about. I also noticed I was level 80 while in that tower, hehe. I thought for sure I would die at several key points while doing the “puzzles” but I managed to get it done without dying. Quite an epic thing to drop into!

Now I have to figure out the significance of the award choice before I make the selection.

Nevermind, I didn’t see the machine that gave me some “antitoxin” which I could use to open the vine gate.

Still, am I supposed to have been dropped into this? The NPC’s act like they know me, but I have no idea who they are.

Hi, I’m a new player and level 26. I’ve been questing in Kessex Hills. When I logged in earlier today, after the patch, I noticed that the large tower in the middle of the map was destroyed. I have never been inside it and don’t really know what it was all about.

I logged off for several hours. When I logged back in, I noticed a small additional update, and when I got back in game, it put me seemingly inside an instance (?), possibly inside that big tower? There are two NPC’s. One is named “Marjory Delaqua” and the other is named “Kasmeer Meade”. The chamber we are in seems alive. There is an orange quest text that says to “work” with these two women to do some sort of toxin injection (?). I spoke to the NPCs and they said to look around and figure out a weakness. The only thing I can find is a gateway that highlights called “Vine Passage.” I can’t open it or destroy it. “Marjory” follows me around but nothing else seems to be triggering.

I have no clue what I’m supposed to do. Am I even in the right story? Is this a bug? Can anyone give me some guidance here? Thank you.
