next, when the beserker crit damage changes drop they will ask for them to be reverted because they didn’t know or if a.net decides to make say gossamer bolts cost 3 scraps instead of 2 they might wanna get it reverted because they have a ton of gossamer scraps but hadn’t gotten around to making them into bolts with the argument that it is unfair to them.

Hello to all,
I think GW2 makes the clickers life impossible. I always used to move my characters with WASD and I used the mouse to cast spells. This is not possible in GW2: you MUST move with the mouse when in combat, and sometime you need mouse and WASD! For that it is hard to cast on movement when you are not skilled or you have expansive game controllers.

I am ok with such a kind of system and I am trying to learn how to use it. Moreover I comprehend that GW2 character control system is part of game originality. But why you decided to limit so much the play-style? One or two optional features can enable new play-styles.

For example:
- when I bring the mouse pointer near the screen borders I would like to turn the camera in that direction.
- when I double click (or single click) a given mouse button on the ground or on a target I would like to auto-move toward that point.
- when my character auto-rotate in combat due to foes movement I would like to automatically keep camera behind him.

Precise movements are so hard in GW2. I am not responsive, I can not turn my char quickly. I feel controls so uneffective. I watched the game and I said “wow”. I bought it then I tried to play it and I said “wtf”! (sorry for the term, but it is the truth)

I think more optional features will make GW2 more usable by newbies (I never played GW1). The game will be more attractive for people who played other games for long time and it will not affect the current control system since new features can be optional.

I hope in some help and suggestions about the control system.

Being a clicker is not a play style in any mmorpg, if you are identified as a clicker in an mmorpg it means you still do not truly know how to play the game, not trying to be harsh or anything like that,

I was a clicker to when I 1st started playing mmorpg’s until I started doing PVP I used to always get my peep kicked all over the place, than I asked guildies what was the problem, I fought my guildies and they than asked me (you’re a clicker aren’t you ?) I said yes, is that a problem ? the answer was a resounding YES it is, it takes to much time to find and click an ability compared to knowing the keybind for it,

not to mention the movement issues it promotes, just like you’re having now.

It takes a while to adapt and learn specially if you haven’t played many consoles games fortunately for me I did play many so my training wasn’t that long, before I was the one kicking peep in PVP, and it also improved my PVE game by a mile.

Raiding GW2 style

- Raiding requires control, communication, and team work it is not something you do in the open world.
- in the open world you can never truly control or know who is doing what, where and the simple fact it is open world means there will always be someone present that is not willing to follow commands, or just wants to do his own thing regardless of the consequences to the group’s organizational purposes.

- GW2’s version of raiding looks like a lot of fun if:

- you could buy an in-game item that grants you the ability to create and password protect your own overflow in essence creating an instanced version of the map.
- this allows for all the intricate organizational needs of true raiding to be met.
- now that is a consumable I’d want.
- consumable description, for the next 24 hours you can choose a Raid Boss map and create a password protected version of it for you and your team of raiders.

I really hope the rewards ain’t that big. Every player that obtained the season key should get a somewhat similar reward, regardless of the end rank of the server.

REALLY,
why bother making a competition with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place than ?
this is part of what is wrong with this 21st century society and the mentality that everybody is a freaking winner even if you lost.

I used to hate it in swtor when people that lost a battle ground complain on the forums because their reward was to low compared to the winners, I mean seriously you LOST be happy you got a consolation prize for losing !

go to a casino and bet some money, you lost, than demand some of the money back because everybody is a winner even if they lose, see what happens, I know real world example and all but seriously it does fit.

because in real warfare you do not speak to the enemy you hunt him down and kill him. if you were in WW2 would you stop to ask: hi there, what’s your name ? nice weather we having today huh ? NO you would get shot or stabbed before you even finished saying HI !

because in real warfare you do not know who you’re fighting his name or rank and no soldier cares to know these things about the enemy, only thing a soldier needs to know is: there is the enemy go destroy him and claim victory for your homeland.

Just imagine this, we all have friends on different servers so you go to WvW and you see him and instead of killing him you cooperate with him. That right there is just wrong for WvW, and creates a lot of traitors !

So, no, we do not need to speak to the enemy or know his name or rank, only thing that matters is, he’s your enemy destroy him !

Looking over the LS season 2 blurb I spotted this “Past episodes will be available for purchase for 200 gems”

Does this mean if we want to reply any LS content we need to pay for it in gems? Is it an unlock a chapter forever fee for every account or is it character bound? If we pay for a chapter can we team with people who haven’t?

Personally, not sure how I feel about this move. To me it seems to step over the ‘morality line’ and move GW2 to a payment model I don’t really like..

If you log in during the release window of an episode (e.g. two weeks) you unlock the episode for your account. You can replay it as many times as you want for free. If you miss the release window and you want to play an episode that you didn’t unlock, you can purchase it.

It’s a lot like watching television in that you can watch (and record) an episode for free when it airs. If you miss it, you can buy the episode off iTunes later. Does that make sense?

1st off, it makes total sense, the OP is just either misguided or didn’t read properly.
Paying for content is absolutely fine, and you (a.net) are even making it so we can access it for free if you login during it’s two week launch window. What more can we (players) possibly ask for.

I’m also happy that it does require you (the player) to finish your original PS and reach level 80 before you can access LS-S2. This had to happen in order to provide more challenging content for level cap players.

Allowing any level to play LS-S2 would’ve resulted in inferior content difficulty.

I do have a few questions about the new system though:

  • The S2 LS seems to be a continuation of the PS as such does that mean that LS2 will be mainly instanced 1 player content ?
  • How will big epic Boss encounters be handled going forth ?
  • Will there be 5 man type instances for LS-S2 boss fights ?
  • Will these big Boss fights also be replayable forever ?

What aspects are other companies trying to copy from gw2? I keep hearing people saying that TESO is copying the wvsw system, but people fail to realize that DAOC was doing what gw2 does now over a decade ago, and the lead RvR guy at TESO is the one that orginaly made the DAOC RvR/Wvsw system, so if anyone is copying anything is was gw2, thats just fact.

that is wrong, most people think about WvW and think GW is the 1st to do it which it didn’t, but I’m not talking about that particular system at all.

features that before gw2 were barely ever present in any mmorpg I know of.
- shared loot, no more mob tagging, kill stealing teso and wow both have adopted this.
- play on any server in your region, wow introduced phasing teso is doing mega servers essentially a different version with the same goal in mind.
- shared resources, think mining nodes and the like, teso is adapting it i head rumors wow will be to but I’m not 100% sure about it.
- making the experience less grindy and more about fun, a lot of games have gone out of their way to make this happen as of late, wonder why (because of GW@ success of course)
- dodge mechanic is not exactly exclusive to GW2 but it is for mmorpg’s in general
before gw2 no body ever dared implement it now they all want it.
- when did anyone seriously abolish the trinity before gw2 came out ?
sure they implemented some kinks here and their but the holy trinity was always strong with them all !
now they all want something different, even if they do sport some form of trinity it’s not exactly the holy untouchable trinity we used to have, for example making it possible to fulfill multiple roles of the trinity with a single character and such is what they think might work. I don’t think it will but hey their failure is our win.
- there are more features of course these are the ones i can think of, of the top of my head.

The Instant Trait Reset item is now available in the Gem Store in the Consumable category for 70 gems each or 5 for 300 gems. Players can use this item anytime they are not in combat to instantly have all their trait points reset. This item is not usable in structured PvP.

it’s a great start but I like many others do NOT buy consumables at all only permanent stuff !

for example, finishers were 1st a consumable, didn’t buy any !
they turned permanent, now I have the ones I liked

Two other things that cause me a lot of hassle and lessen my immersibility and enjoyment of the game:

1. Please add the ability to send mail to alts on the same account. This would allow me to have an “AH mule”, like in the other MMOs I play/have played, and free my main toon from wasting time finding bank and AH access (waaaay to hard to find in this game, btw) and allow him to just enjoy the game.

2. Adding the ability to send and receive mail from anywhere, thus eliminating the search for a mail box. was a stroke of genius. No clue why you didn’t do the same thing for bank access. It makes perfect sense and would greatly enhance player enjoyment and simplicity.

If all you want is a TP mule it’s easy to do if you pick the right city, in Divinity’s reach the bank and TP are just a step away from each other and there’s a waypoint right there to, so no need for mailing to alt characters just send to bank.

Same for me. I can’t go back to standard quests and static combats. I can’t go back to content that leads you around instead of giving you options. I can’t go back to worlds where NPCs tell me someone is attacking them but nothing is happening.

Whatever flaws some folks think that GW2 has, the alternative isn’t better.

Wish more people realize this ^^ soon !
No other game out there right now (yes NOT even wow) comes close to what gw2 has to offer in terms of quality and sheer fun factor.

I believe this is an issue that needs addressing,
let’s say you’re fighting someone and simply because they know they will lose the fight they take a dive from the nearest cliff and die, now what happens is you are denied your loot and he avoids repair bills due to no armor break from falling damage.

I believe that if you’re fighting someone and he decides to take a dive and die it should still count as a player kill, why ? simple, he wasn’t out of combat fell and died ! NO, he was fighting a player and now that he is losing he wants to cheat you and the systems in place !

Here’s why:
1 – he only dived to avoid the death penalty and save money.
2 – he is trying to cheat the system and deny you your loot.
3 – he is also denying you of you monthly WvW achievement this way.

If this was like every other mmo out there skins would not matter as much.

That said,

Guild Wars 2 is all about the skins, as such yes unique skins do give some degree of prestige specially those skins that are NOT tradable and limited to those that were actually present at the time to acquire them.

The prestige was not about “oh look shiny” as some of the skins are not that impressive.
it was more along the lines of “I was there when it happened” kind of prestige.

that is all gone now with LS rewards coming back from previous releases.

For example, having a pair of fused gauntlets used to be kind of unique, now everybody and their dog is gonna have one, sad so sad.

On topic,

gw2 is all about cosmetics, there is no perpetual vertical progression aka the hunt for better stats.

as such those LS skins were valuable as prestige items for this very reason, now that is all gone ! thank you very much a.net.

I also feel cheated because the one item I don’t have is nowhere to be found, the mad king memories yet all my other LS skins are now easily acquirable !!! not cool !!!

I’m not usually big on story in mmo’s but….
this last LS story arc was done properly, the story is fleshed out the VO is emotionally engaging and feels naturally spoken without odd cut off points.

There is more to it than just clicking next, and even some of the written story has VO in it.

I particularly like the way Scarlet’s journal was done.
not to spoil anything but those intentional typo’s totally got me by surprise, I had to take a second look to figure out what was going on.

if the goal was to make me curious and wonder what happens next, well with this LS installment you finally nailed it.

Particle effects are still a problem specially for melee classes,
in a Dev live stream there was talk about a slider they have on their end to adjust these game wide.

How about giving us a slider option instead, so we can all adjust how much particle effects we wanna see.

I’m sure this has been said before probably a long time ago but since the problem still exists

I used to play a game where the community kept asking for build templates all the time
and guess what happened ?

They implemented them in about 3-4 months time.

I’m trying to be more aware of how I phrase things to avoid those annoying infractions !

After 2k hours played these are some the issues that stick out like a sore thumb, to me at least.

WvW, dead keep lords keep getting revived with banners
give keep lords down state, keep lord down you can banner, keep lord dead no revival, easy fix seeing as you did give PVE npc’s in clockwork and now in tower of madness a down state

reveal debuff doesn’t stack and is unblockable
sic’em should stack with already present reveal debuff to be viable, sic’em is a start but it’s unblockable it leaves no room for skillful play, also other classes need these types of skills to giving it to just the one is not good

WvW queue pops and I missed it
when WvW queue pops it needs a sound alert or something along those lines, also knowing how many are in front of you would be nice, even if you’re in edge of the mists

skill lag in WvW
this is a tough one, but needs to be as responsive as sPVP to be viable long term,
I love the game type but laggy and unresponsive skills make me quit and go back to PVE and sPVP

vendors need a quantity menu
clicking 100x times to buy 100x of the same item is not cool and that’s not considering some items pop a confirmation menu before you buy, which makes it even more annoying

precursors
account bound craftable precursors please when ?

Legendaries
legendary weapons should be account bound upon creation,
I know you agree with me a.net you made ascended account bound it is time to fix that with legendaries giving them their status and prestige back again, but not before giving us craftable precursors

The LFG should have a gear score / AR score listed for each and every dungeon, if your gear / AR is below that threshold you cannot apply to enter that dungeon, and NO not just the dungeon instance owner but every member of the team needs to meet the required gear score / AR, some will disagree but this would protect both groups the casuals and the efficiency driven dungeon / Fractal runners by ensuring that every party members meets the minimum requirements to actually complete the content and not just drag your team down to oblivion or force people to carry you through the whole thing

So, would you pay $10 a month for the game if the Gem Store ceases to exist, no need to buy bag and bank slots, expand this, expand that. Pay for boosters of various kind. Buy unlimited mining picks. What not…
That would probably also include less time gating, maybe a bit higher drop rates… You name it!

In short, you get a full service for $10 a month. I’d say if the game’s good, I’d pay that money.

if you want a sub based gw2 just pretend it is and buy $10 worth of gems every month.
there problem solved, now stop ruining the game for the rest of us.

PvE Dueling

I would still like to see this. I know there are dueling servers but I don’t think they quite fulfill the need (is it just me?).

Dueling is necessary for players to have a fair 1v1 battle with their friends without the inevitable 1v1 battle turns into a 3v1 battle ending in rage and exasperation. This also helps a player learn to fight specific classes and hone their skills in a fair environment.

PvE dueling is necessary because players shouldn’t have to go through 2 loading screens and a possible queue to duel with a friend real fast in the mists, then take another 2 loading screens to get back to PvE followed by a waypoint to get close to where they were adventuring before when they decided to have a quick duel.

I feel this feature would be really nice and possibly even introduce PvE players to PvP in a more fun and less frustrating way… among friends and not probably angry strangers.

For the millionth time NOOOOOOOOOOOO

You want dueling?

1- go to heart of the mists and do custom arenas 1v1.
2- I don’t mind them enabling dueling in heart of the mist.

Leave the PVE world alone !

I’m very happy that it does require you (the player) to finish your original PS and reach level 80 before you can access LS-S2. I was getting tired of seeing up-levels dying all over the place, whose only purpose is only making it impossible for a.net to deliver truly challenging content to level cap players

it is NOT about wanting PVP rewards awarded to me ! lol, I still gotta acquire them don’t I ?

it is about the fact I will need to run a kitten load of boring story dungeons to unlock them when I’ve already done so many many times !

I do not wish to be rude or anything like that but,
you really should think about borrowing or hiring armor designers from:

- Aion
- Vindictus
- Assassins Creed

The reason I say this is because it seems you have a hard time designing armor sets at a decently fast rate and most of them have clipping issues or look a bit on the awkward side of things.

Most of the armor sets look way to similar, we need variety.

All I’m saying is, anonymity is a very important very exciting part of WvW Why for the love of G would you want to ruin it. It’s not just the traitor mentally I’m concerned about. Like you said enemies irl abuse each other verbally, that right there is one of the things I do not miss at all, the verbal abuse is already out of hand on your own side if all of a sudden you could speak to the enemy it’d turn into a flame swearing war every time someone loses a duel or is ambushed by a thief the swearing starts. And loads of people will get banned because of it.

So in summary NO we do not need to speak or know who the enemy is.

It would actually be nice to get this discussion back on track; right now there are people saying that DPS (zerker) specs should be nerfed and people defending this because of multiple reasons..

We can talk all we want about if the DPS meta should be “balanced” or “nerfed” or whatever. The fact remains that the “DPS meta”, the “Zerker builds” or even the “Players” are not at fault here.. and thus should not be changed or forced to change. Even the players that feel left out because they can’t or won’t play in a predefined way must see that “gear” is not at fault here..

What is? The game mechanics.. simple as that. No trinity (which I’m not saying is desirable) means that everyone is in fact a “jack of all trades”, this wouldn’t be a problem and actaully sounds good, if the encounters in game were made to fit that. The fact is that this is NOT the case. You don’t need a jack of all trades, you don’t need a trinity, you don’t even need toughness or vitality… You have dodge and DPS, you can stack/LoS, burn everything down and GG.

So nerfing or changing the Meta? This will just result in a different Meta or in another version of “trinity”.. Both of which will result in all the same problems you have now but with a different focus.. So quick fixes for this imagined problem are just not there, simple as that.

Can something be done? Sure.. Change the whole system, dodging, buffs, condi’s and AI. Change boss skills, trash mob skills the whole lot.. In essence, change everything..
Why? Because the the current meta is inherent to the system… There was no other outcome, never was, never has been..

So please, ANet, if you want to change something so there will be more build diversity, to move away from stacking and nuking.. fine! But don’t go for the easy way out here, because honestly, you’ll destroy a lot more than is good for the game.. I’m sure you guys are thinking this thing through and I think this thread is a testament of how important your decision is going to be.. This is one thing you CAN’T screw up guys..

Finally someone that gets it

To add to your ideas, how about another way to make it more desirable to bring other specs would be to have the bosses spawn minions when certain conditions are met, for example,
- if dps is to high and the boss will die in 10 seconds spawn veteran minions and the boss is invulnerable until all minions are dead.
- if toughness is to high spawn high damage veteran minions.
- if healing is to high, conditions galore on players.
- if control is to high, stability instead of defiant or a new system to replace defiant that actually works w/o negating 99% of the control archetype.

OK well here goes anyway.

Funny you should mention that.

what was always boring to me in holy trinity is how you always knew what the boss was gonna do (highly scripted fights) and even if it did something unexpected you had the braindead threat generation skills of the tank to draw all attention to himself.

I highlighted the word random in your post because this is what makes boss fights interesting in gw2 you cannot control the boss that in my book is a plus point sir.

Holy trinity:

Thief is destroying the boss from behind but the boss doesn’t pay any attention to him he just keeps pounding the meat shield gorilla screaming in front of him (aka threat generating skills)

Gw2:

the boss will decide who to attack and who to ignore based on rules we do not yet understand, it may choose to attack the highest damage dealer in the group or the one with less armor, simply screaming in the boss’s face aka threat generation gets you no where since there is no such kitten stupid skills in gw2.

I welcome this randomness in place of boring holy trinity combat where nothing unexpected that is not written into the highly scripted boss fight ever happens.

I’d go as far as to say a 24 hour matchup would be ideal for tourneys.

  • coverage would not matter as much, smaller servers can pull of OT to cover gaps for 24 hours instead of the unrealistic OT for weeks at a time.
  • elimination style tourneys, you lose you go home. This would make match fixing a bit harder since any decent server can come together for at least 24 hours to prevent losing.

EDIT

  • Pit NA and EU servers against each other making it a true world vs world experience.
    (I can dream) they both would experience the same lag issues, if any so no one has an advantage.

that makes sense, since having alts is kind of pointless with all the account wide stuff going on in the game and some of the high level aesthetic stuff is grindy as hell to get, having them be account bound instead would be awesome indeed.

what I wish for is a bag you equip on your character that is accessible to all characters so I can place all my account wide tonics, salvage o matic and whatever else in there, and not have to worry about transferring them from character to character all the time if decide to play a specific character more than others.

Let’s be practical here. This just shows why the WARRIOR needs to be toned down. People defending they aren’t op, they either have a warrior character, or think other class are underpowered.

I main a warrior and let me tell yah a little secret.
the reason warrior is preferred is not because it is the highest damage dealer in the game, it just so happens that warriors have high enough damage that can be pulled off a lot easier than others, and we do not die as easily.

I’m now playing an elementalist and the crap I pull of with my elementalist is a lot crazier than what I can pull with my warrior, I just have to be a bit more aware of my surroundings and chain skills that is all.

From my perspective when I’m on my elementalist I’m grinning and saying to myself, and they call us warriors OP, yeah right !

And for the longbow sure you can do that but it’s only 900 range and you need to waste another trait to get it to 1200 range, see a pattern yet ?

I’m not saying it is all bad, the warrior is the most balanced class there is overall.
the issue is that by giving other classes those things w/o asking them to pick a trait or have some kind of trade off it hurts us warriors the most.

Rarity frames are ingame now, awesome.
My suggestion came to life in the game I’m super happy, and proves a.net does listen to good ideas when they make sense.

inventory options, the gear at the right corner of inventory and select show rarity frames.

The only way I can see trash being worth killing is if Anet implemented a point system that reward bonus drop/exp at the end depending on the point you accumulate killing mobs.

Now there is an interesting idea

if there was such a point system, we would have a lot less skipping / speed running and a lot more killing to get those scores higher so we can earn better loot at the end.

problem is a.net suffers from marginal reward syndrome

meaning the bonus reward would be along the lines of more blue / green useless scraps.

what happens next ?

every speed runner goes back to skipping and speed running

So after people have gone out and bought ascended armor and weapons for their characters best possible builds, Anet now wants to change the meta completely? That’s completely unfair.

I smell a NGE level catastrophe coming our way !
be careful what you do here a.net, it might be the beginning of the end for the game

- after going through all the time gates and all the laurels.
- after spending considerable time figuring out what works and what works best.
- I’ve been playing since beta and if suddenly all my gear for all my 8 characters is made obsolete.

10% crit dmg nerf is not enough to make me wanna swap to defense or any other subpar gear set.

That 10% crit dmg loss can be covered with consumables, so zerker will still be meta until a whole lot more changes are made to make it necessary or desirable to take someone in clerics, condi or defensive gear.

If it is temporary, can you at least make it possible for players to acquire in other ways? That’d be an awesome compromise. The same goes for any significant non-cosmetic LW rewards, really.

You’ll be able to acquire the skill forever, it’s simply easier to earn (doesn’t cost skill points) during the release window.

you said points plural, hmmm as long as you don’t make it grindy or something insane like 50 skill points to acquire I don’t mind, take into consideration that an elite skill has never been more than either 10 or 30 skill points.

Just because the game has been out for a year and many players have 1000 skill points sitting there doing nothing doesn’t mean you can take that as the base line for the whole populous.

Hint, that new T7 item you can buy for 20 skill points is a travesty !
it should’ve never been more than 5 or 10 skill points at the most, again just because many players have a surplus of skill points does not make them the norm.

Here’s why.

what is the definition of a stance?

  • it is suppose to be an innate warrior skill.

Every single stance has one thing in common:

  • they have a unique atrribute to them that cannot be cleansed corrupted or otherwise removed until it is over.

examples:

  • endure pain: immunity to direct damage for a short time.
    cannot be cleansed stripped or corrupted.
  • beserker stance: immunity to conditions for a short time.
    cannot be cleansed stripped or corrupted.
  • frenzy: all actions 50% faster for a short time.
    cannot be cleansed stripped or corrupted.

Now we come to the joke that is balanced stance

  • balanced stance: immunity to CC for a short time.
    can in fact be stripped, cleansed, corrupted, boon stripped, it is a joke of a stance

Am I the only one that sees this mistake and or oversight ?
Am I the only one that feels this is more a shout than a stance ?

let’s look at other classes and some examples of their innate abilities shall we ?

Elementalist

  • mist form: invulnerable for a short time.
    imagine if this could be stripped ? everyone would be up in arms and a lot of kitten and WTF’s

Necromancer

  • death shroud: 2nd health pool and damage dealing capability.
    imagine if when you pop death shroud someone could simply strip it from you ? oh the horror and the uproar on the forums.

Engineer

  • elixir S: shrink yourself and become invulnerable for a short time.
    imagine if this also could be stripped, corrupted or whatever oh the horror !

why do I want balanced stance to be made into what it should be ?

1 – it is suppose to be a stance not some cheap kitten boon as if it was a shout !
2 – it negates the mechanic it was made for.
3 – gives warriors one way to perform a safe stomp just as many other classes have one.
(stealth stomp, plague form stomp, mist form stomp anyone ?)

How come no warriors have noticed this oversight ?

Rally up warriors notice that one of your stances is a joke already will yah !

This needs to be changed a.net, if you believe in fairness and balance this needs your attention.

Thieves are not OP at all, you can’t kill them because the player is to skillful for you !
Thief players are to skillful, they don’t need to exploit game mechanics to win !
Thieves will never run from a battle like a yellow chicken even if they are losing !

In the thick of battle it is hard to see anything in between the sea of particle effects let alone who is down, who is dead.

for this reason and for better visibility I propose this:

Nameplates should reflect player and npc status

What do I mean ?

  • player is down: nameplate color is bright yellow.
  • player is dead: nameplate color is light grey.
  • npc is dead: nameplate color is black.

you cannot buy ascended off the trading post ! thank god for that but…
you can sure as hell buy a legendary of the trading post, oh the irony, oh the hypocrisy !

the argument is there, subtle but it is there.
they messed up by allowing legendary items to be sold on the TP they just don#t know how to fix it now, they never imagined people would be insane enough to actually sell such an item oh how wrong you were a.net.

Now they didn’t make the same mistake with ascended thank god !
but imo, legendary items don’t belong on the trading post at all and the fact you cannot buy ascended on the TP is prove of the obvious oversight and mistake they allowed to happen.

Tera, aion, wow, swtor lotro etc…

Just seeing an exclamation mark, knowing I have to go back and forth to that NPC to complete a quest is boring as hell. Not being able to dodge or move while attacking is another big no no for me after gw2, trinity is something I really dislike, locking me into a single role and nothing else is boring and archaic, I like mixing it up melee, range than play support than offensive or tanky, all on one single character.
hell I can’t even play the previous guild wars game itself anymore, even though I love it so much it just feels to outdated.
