The consortium are setting up a camp for the refugees there, so likely we will see some more action around those parts once F&F ends.
YOU GUYS ARE ALL KITTEN
I started to play this game TWO weeks ago. YOUR long standing addiction is making all these flamers upset because you cannot get this skin. Why is it so great that you would spend another games worth of money trying to get it. In my 5-10th BL chest I was lucky enough to receive one. I hit 80 last night and didn’t realise it was pretty RARE (lucky me) until I see 15 posts about how people all hate Arenanet for putting a RARE skin as a (limited time?)offer in something you can pay for. They give you a game you CAN only pay once to play (forever) but you guys cry about spending money on something that hardly drops.
My Female Asura Necromancer is Echo of Magpie Labs. If I could go back, she’d probably be Ekko to get the Asura pattern perfect, but I’m not broken up enough about it to pay for a rename token when they go up for sale, especially since she’s going Order of Whispers and the current spelling seems like a spy codename due to the US Military Phonetic Alphabet.
Magpie Labs stands for:
M ortiplasm
A ugmented
G olemancy
P aradigm
I nnovation
E nterprises
… but also sometimes:
M agically
A nimated
G houlems
P ulverize
I mbeciles,
E XCELSIOR!!!
As a Necromancer/Golemancer, she’s looking for the synthesis of the two disciplines, and calls her minions “Ghoulems”. She mainly named her Krewe after Magpies for four reasons:
1.) They are regarded as among the most intelligent of birds, which appeals to her Asuran ego.
2.) They are also notorious for stealing shiny things. Echo employs a small army of Skritt as lab help, for all the petty theft for golem parts. She’s also just a little bit vain about her appearance (rather than just her intellect, as is more typical), and wears a small fortune of occult jewelry.
3.) They are considered ill omens, much like other birds of the Corvidae family such as Ravens, Rooks and Crows. Since her reputation is pretty much guaranteed to be sinister as a Necromancer, she figures she may as well get some intimidation value.
4.) They aren’t quite as focused on carrion as a dietary staple as other Corvids, but are known to indulge. As Echo’s work involves a fair deal of dumpster-diving behind butcher shops and slaughter yards, and occasionally outright graverobbing, it seemed a good fit.
Just another reason that Asura are the master race.
Well said.
Just another reason that Asura are the master race.
As an asura, I do this all the time.”
I would never be anything other than Asura.
It would seem sensible to me if others wanted to become Asura as well. We are the master race after all.
As an asura, I do this all the time.”
