People only do swamp now. Both for dailies and raising personal reward level.

Swamp has always been a problem because it’s so fast and easy. As long as people view it as equivalently rewarding to the other fractals they’ll always spam it. Same with the other fast/easy ones.

If you change things so we have to do different fractals to get our dailies, people will still always do 1 swamp. It’ll probably be swamp, molten boss, and molten furnace.

If we’re counting bugs:

1. Bristleback HP nerfed.
2. Go for the Eyes nerfed.
3. Ancestral Grace bugged.
4. Sublime Conversion bugged.

That’s four out of seven ‘fixes’ jacked or nerfed. Not good odds. Even for the ranger/druid NERF IT patch updates, it’s a bit extreme.

GW2 - Medium Armour Lacklustre?

I personally like the Glorious and the Asura T1 cultural armors.
But yeah, pretty much every medium armor are trench coats.

You are not wrong, 95% of medium armor is trench coats! Males only have 1 tight leather armor, and it’s the one from the spvp reward track (glorious armor) females have 3 (Glorious, Sneakthief and the Krytan one from the gem store), everything else is jerkings or tunics, no tight leather for us! seriously wish they would add more medium armor variety!

As nemitri said. My ranger uses sneakthief while my thief uses heritage, but too many of the armors are trench coats which really limits the variety.

Yes, Medium Armor is horrible and widely hated. Anet continues to make the same style constantly clearly showing they don’t care. The designers are probably so offended at this point that he/they just keeps doing it to spite us for disliking it.

PVE Placement restrictions needed near merchants/banks:

Box of fun
Bobblehead Laboratory
Banker Golem (2 weeks)
Costume Brawl cauldron
probably few others I didn’t listed

Players putting down these items preventing/interfering with other players from using merchants/banks and even some Vista’s I’ve came across. It’s getting worse ad worse in 3 very popular maps which I won’t name so it won’t get worse.

Adding to this topic. It is completely ridiculous that the bundle is the only option to buy these skins. I don’t even consider buying them since the bundles cost 2000 gems. It’s not worth it to me to pay that much money up front for anything. What’s sillier is that I would probably pay more than that over time for most of the items in that bundle.

Bundles should be a bonus, not the base.

I also agree with the sentiments that we need more armor skins. Some people would rather customize their look, via mixing and matching armor skins (and dealing with any clipping that happens – it is understood that clipping happens when mixing and matching). I personally find it uninteresting to use pre-made outfits, since in the end that does nothing for my actual customization.

I have to say I love the soul river glider skin, but I dislike the bandit sniper outfit. I won’t give 2000 gems for a glider even if I liked the outfit. I can’t understand why you put all those together in a pack in order to raise the price. You knew that you will kitten off everyone and you did it anyway.

I really hope they add Tengu.. I would start a new character and even purchase a character slot if I was full up..

Thing that makes me think Anet will make it happen eventually is that the Tengu starting city and zones are already there on the map, just not accessible at the moment.. Also it looks like the new and improved Lion’s Arch has an access point to the Tengu Zones as well over on the bottom left side..

Here’s hoping!

Probably not. Too much effort they rather spend on elite specs.

I believe this xpac, they made a new profession. Next xpac, they will likely add Tengu as a playable race.

They said making a profession was easier and more productive than making a race, which is why they didn’t.

Would be nice if they’d at least add tonics like the Watchknight.

They didn’t say anything about being easier. All they did say was that a profession allows them to add meaningful gameplay mechanics while a race is basically just aesthetic (since the racial skills are intentionally underpowered to avoid having one race as the “best”). So they value a new profession over a new race because it actually alters the gameplay and gives people new meaningful options.

For that reason, I’m pretty pessimistic about ever getting a new race. If that’s their stance now, it’ll probably continue to be in the future, so they’ll probably continue to value new professions and elite specs over races. I mean, in theory they’ve now laid the groundwork for all these new systems so that should make the next expansion a bit smoother, which would allow for more time to develop something like a race. But it would likewise allow more time to develop a profession or elite spec, so…

But I would love a playable Tengu. They look awesome (HoT especially outlines just how much variety they could have) and have some nice lore behind them. So I’ll be happy to be proved wrong at some point.

I completely agree with the first item! There are world events (Teq, some of the other bosses) where it is desirable to join parties and organize things. The squad interface is not a 1:1 replacement.

I am guessing we can use mentor tags while in parties. That defeats the point of them in three ways:

- A mentor may be a mentor or they may be a commander.

- Given how many people are wearing mentor tags lately you could no longer tell the organizers.

- So much for saying things like ‘the party with the blue tag needs more people’ or ‘the s hills defense party is at the red tag’.

The only thing I want out of the bundle is the glider skin; outfits can go to hell. I’m happy enough to wait until the bundle is split up anyway, and if that doesn’t happen then I’m equally happy to not put any money towards it at all.

What are these weapons though? I need to look into that. And I still wouldn’t buy a bundle for a weapon skin anyway(see first sentence for reason).

This bundle trend needs to end. I bought the crystal arbiter bundle for the outfit and weapon. This time around, I’m not willing to drop extra cash and/or gold again on things I don’t want. I’m pretty bummed because it appears the Immortal weapon skins will only be available via 2000 gem bundles. Shadow dyes aren’t worth much anymore, except for shadow abyss. I have 3 makeover kits in my bank already…

No more outfit, glider, or weapon skin purchases for me unless they’re available outside of bundles.

If they priced things out more reasonably people would likely still spend the same amount of money and maybe even more because they wouldn’t feel like they were being ripped off or taken to the cleaners but right now it’s clearly off the rails greedy!

The way I see it, Anet has been slipping on the Aesthetics front for a while. First they remove ‘Town Clothes’ and give us useless tonics, they don’t even replace the ‘Town Clothes’ with outfits, which would have made sense given the switch to outfits.

Then they take full Armor skins off the Gemstore and only give the option of Outfits.

Now they’re bundling to make those outfits cost even more?

At what point is Anet going to listen to what people are saying. A happy customer is more likely to spend more and do so repeatedly than one that’s feeling ‘forced’ to buy things they don’t particularly want/need to get something they like.

Dear ArenaNet,

I recently noticed a change in trend so to speak in the gemstore and I feel I need to voice my concerns about it. Since the release of Heart of Thorns there have been 2 bundle deals, the crystal arbiter deal that was at launch and the new sniper bundle deal that was released today 11/24/15.

Here is my main concern with this new bundle system that you are implementing. I think it is a good idea to have bundles to save people money if they want something, which is a good option to have. However, that should not be the ONLY option to get certain items. Lets say for example I want to buy the new Soul River glider and I only have about 700 gems and I can not afford to buy more gems, I am locked out of buying it because I can only get it if I purchase the 2000 gem bundle deal.

This way of introducing new gemstore items with bundle only deals is very similar to what other companies have done and have gotten a lot of negative responses for it.

My suggestion would be to give us the players more options for buying items, single bundle items for example, because this current trend of bundle is forcing the players to buy stuff that they do not want just to get certain items.

This is just my opinion and I welcome others to agree or disagree with me.

Thank you for taking the time to read this Anet and I hope you take what I have to say into consideration.

No. You start off with 5 char slots so start using those extra ones. Too much work for Anet to do and with possible too many issues arising from it. Don’t expect Anet to do all the work for you – reroll!

Hi Anet,
I enjoyed trying the raids last night, was good content and I like the difficulty.

However when thinking about it I think the timers on bosses is a bad idea.
I think a team shouldn’t be fighting the clock but instead the content.

Perhaps after 8 minutes the boss would do a special attack, become harder, deny you of an achievement or loot, anything but asking you to start over for the 10th time.

Hard content is fun but not when you’re fighting the clock more than the actual content.

That’s just my opinion,
Thanks
