We still have low damage.
We still have poor sustain (can be easilly kited/killed.)
We are still one of the hardest classes to play.

This is lulzy coming from the highest damage, and one of the highest sustain class. It’s also the class that is widely considered to be ez-mode and faceroll.

Gaurdians/Rangers/Engineers/Thieves all have higher sustain.

Rangers have higher sustained damage, Guardians have higher Sustained Damage, Thieves have higher burst damage.

Please go back to your own forums.

Since when do thieves have higher sustain? If they’re in stealth they can’t do anything except regen health which is still lower than healing signet PASSIVE…
This compared to warriors that can deal extreme amounts of damage all the while regening health at extreme amounts, they’re virtually unstoppable.

Warrior is widely regarded to do the most DPS, a lot more than ranger and guardian for sure. As far as burst DPS, warrior wins with hundred blades. Nothing can touch that.

Did you know the world record for running cof p1 was set by a party consisting of 1 mesmer, 1 ranger 1 warrior and 2, I say again, TWO thieves?

They were just brought along to blast in the fire fields.

And what would you replace them with? All of the characters in this game, goody two shoes or no, are cardboard cutouts. There’s no more depth to Evon Gnashblade than there is Ellen Kiel, for example.

I don’t think they care who wins, it’s all about getting people to spend more bucks and to log more play time.

So I just saw the update in the polls and after 9.5million tokens it still sits at 52%/48% which was the same as last week. I cannot believe that it is that close.

The forums are full of people wanting that fractal to be made, and hardly any positive threads about Kiel. She’s already been labeled Trahearne 2.0, other threads are questioning why anyone would like her. On my server the chat is always in favour of Evon.

I think we have hyped up the Abaddon fractal too much and Anet will skew the number in Kiels favour just to avoid a disappointing fractal that doesn’t live up to expectations.

calling it now, the race will be close and Kiel will unfortunately win, then we will get another inquest dungeon with golems.

I have been wondering the same thing since launch. It makes no sense at all. Anet doesn’t want racial skills to give a specific race an unfair advantage, making the skills weak/useless isn’t the solution….

Because Tyria is physically incapable of having any celebration that doesn’t go horribly wrong (seriously though, its starting to feel old having this same story progression play out) what do we think will happen during Queen’s Jubilee?

That’s true… he did run from one fight directly into another. Coward or Hero depends if you were part of the fight he ran from or to.

Evo, when you stop playing a character, because there is a constantly an ugly backpack on it, you want an option to switch it of, not to make the devs look “more recognisable”.
You really want SO many players simply to stop playing?

To be serious…You want balance? You want opponents to be able to recognize what you are “using?”. Can you tell a rangers “offpet” from looking at him? Can you tell what the guardian has as “switch” weapon? Can you tell, that is a guardian or a warrior from first blink? Since they use the same kind of armors? (unless he is runing araund with a staff)
PS : You want balance ask the devs to give warriors a warrior only thing, and all can se its a warrior, and for all classes. And hopefully ask them to make it ULTRAUGLY, just that half the cummunity can leave the game.

I figured well, i better buy some keys and try my luck for the Black Lion Ticket scraps. I bought 10 keys. Out of the 10 chests i got 3 Black Lion Ticket Scraps. I was super excited. I looked up the Black Lion Ticket Scraps on some wiki post and seen i need 10 for one skin…..I figured ok maybe that post was wrong. Checked another post and it also had 10.

So at the end of the week the “Cost will go up” are you out of your minds? At this rate, i would need to spend like $50 for keys since they NEVER drop. I mean like never.

I guess my question is. How many Scraps did you get on your chests? and how many chests did you open? Did i just run into some bad luck?

Gems always cost the same with real money. Just be happy that there is a conversion from gold to gems…

Can Flame and Frost dyes be reintroduced? The cost of them in the TP is insane.

Why do total makeover kits not allow for a name change if you change from a male to a female?

I changed my ranger to be my first female character, and now she’s stuck with a pretty well known male name.

Name changes should be included when changing sexes.

I want to play my engineer, I really do. But two things take so much of the fun out of it and leave it as such a frustrating experience.

1. The dumb kit sacks we are forced to wear with our kits. No one likes them. I know not one engineer who thinks they looks good. Can we PLEASE get rid of them? Or at least give us an option to use our back piece instead of the dumb kit sack. My elementalist does not have to wear a dumb sack when I use elemental weapons, so why should engineers?
2. The grenades. I love throwing grenades, its my favorite kit. But my left button on my mice cry every time I use them. Why can’t the land version of grenades be the same as the underwater version? I used to tell myself this way is better since I can manually aim the grenades, but its not. It is nearly impossible to dodge and roll around and manually aim each “1” grenade. I don’t mind having to click for the “2” through “5” grenades. But the “1” grenades should auto aim and fire like normal long range weapons. Why can’t they do this? The underwater version of grenades does this and isn’t horribly annoying like land grenades.

The second reason annoys me more then the first, but the combined reasons keep me from touching my engineer unless I want CoF tokens and I already ran it on my other level 80 characters.

The difference between the male light and the female light armor is very frustrating. Why can’t bros have armor that is also elegant and looks like it fits together?

My personal expectations of the Living Story were something along the lines of what was delivered in Flame and Frost (but with more permanent additions). The content was designed in a way so that the player felt like he was actively contributing to the story and that the Molten Alliance was defeated with the players playing a pivotal role.

But now, all I can see as far as the Living Story is concerned is two weeks of throwaway minigames bound up by content that I personally consider a joke. Cutthroat Politics is really the last straw for me, as ALL the man hours for this content were spent in minigames.

I do not play the Living Story for minigames, and I never will. I did not buy Guild Wars because I was expecting updates containing throwaway content released every two weeks. If you want to release lots of temporary content, that’s fine, but please stop with the throwaway minigames. I’m sick of them, and it goes against the idea of a living STORY.

I want the living story to be a STORY, not just a new carnival every two weeks.

For the reasons above, I consider Bazaar of the Four Winds/Cutthroat Politics to be the weakest chapter in the Living Story by far and beyond. I would like this trend to stop, and it is for this reason I am posting today.
