Come on, a 500 members hebrew speaking canadian guild on a GMT +1 timezone with a minimum age required of 35 ? And you’re not getting the troll ? I think I understand now…
So ? You managed to fight on equal foot and take the lead during the week-end and that allows you to trashtalk about an entire server because they can play 24/7, using NASA records of some Canadian UFO as a proof ?
I’m not even on VS, but I’m starting to get tired of all those threads about how awesome FS is and how terrible VS (or “The French”) is. It reminds me of the LoL forums where everyone were trashtalking about how bad the french (or russian, or spanish, or whatever non-english player) were, closing their eyes as soon as those same french were carrying them, stating that only one failed game was enough as a proof to blame an entire community.
You’re like saying that you can handle a sprint and asking for ANet to change the 1-week marathon into a 2-days-daytime-only sprint, and that’s ridiculous.
This again ?
Well, at least you didn’t bring out the “HURR DURR CANADIANZ”.
They just have enough dedicated people to do WvW 24/7.
Any Grawls and/or Undead type mobs in level ~20 area.
…
So leatherworker big money items: 15 Potent Venom Sacs/Bloods/Fangs whatever: 20-30 silver depending on fine component.
Jewelcrafter: 3 ectos, 15 crystals – roughly 80 silver depending on which crystals.
You forgot that to level up Leatherworking or Armorsmith until that point you need litterally hundreds of fine crafting mats, only dropped by mobs, and which cost from 1 silver to 20 silver per unit, whereas the only thing you need in Jewelcrafting until then is dust. You may have a hard time leveling the last 20 levels to 400, but other armor/weapon crafting professions require way more time and gold to get to 300 (and even higher).
You’re already at an advantage by being ahead in the jumping puzzle, with the ability to activate traps and cast spells from above, I don’t mind fighting people in there, because there is always a moment when you can jump on the next block, or fight back, but using siege wepons in there is like putting a bucket with a sign “Tears go there”.
Holding a keep with inferior numbers for enough time to get reinforcements is WvW, delaying ennemies trying to get free blueprints by using traps and fighting in risky positions is WvW, camping a whole area with a 5-man group without any way of losing (either you die from the damage, or you’re perma-crippled and can’t do the jumps, or you can’t even attack the enemy because he is out of LoS but still able to hit you with siege weapons) is not WvW.
Getting full exotic gear(endgame gear) is already very easy to obtain. Try different game and it will take months to get endgame gear.
No changes needed or make it harder to get.
And that’s the problem, why is leveling a crafting profession way harder than crafting the endgame gear ? You need 5 T6 mats per exotic piece once 400, but 15 for a rare and 8 for a masterwork before that.
You’re supposed to be able to level up both professions as you level up your character, but currently that’s not the case. I made the mistake of chosing both Huntsman and Leatherworker for my first character, I managed to level up Huntsman to 400 by using all the materials I got during my leveling, salvaging everything and getting 100% world completion, and I still bought some at the TP. Now I’m leveling Leatherworker, and all I’m doing is going back in a low-level area and killing everything I can find for hours.
There is no issue to “fix” in night capping : WvW is a 24/7 battleground. I don’t understand why people should have a chance to win without playing. The only thing there is to fix is the outmanned buff, which is useless as it is now : “Here, you’re losing hard, take this PvE buff and go kill some mobs !”.
The price should be in Badges of Honor instead of gold, while possible to obtain these through jumping puzzles and not killing players, atleast they will have to actually BE on the battlefield, and BE the potentional target for enemies at these jumping puzzles. Currently, anyone can just play the market to get the 100g instead.
This, mainly.
IMO, the Art of War level should determine which building your guild can claim, from Camp at level 1 to Castle at level 4. I don’t think it’s an important issue though.
