People don’t get banned or suspended for what they are doing at that time. For botting, either someone reports a suspected bot or ANet’s computers see botting programs. Either way, this is then investigated by a support personnel and the decision is made according to what programs ANet’s computer has detected. This takes time, possibly several days from start to finish. So party chat here is irreverent if he had been using some sort of botting program in the past.

They do ask you to allow them at least 72 hours to evaluate his ticket and situation. If it hasn’t been 72 hours then he need to wait while they look into it.

Your weapon is ok but it has a really crappy sigil. I doubt there are any areas with underwater ogres. Also you have no utility skills or an elite. You might also want to look at your armor rating and see if it’s level appropriate. In addition, you might get nourishments to increase your power. One last thing I can think of is how you are traited. Are you traited for power?

I tried a search a few days back after a moderator post on a thread admonishing people to do a search on the forum. It gave me several posts BUT only one or two were relevant. The rest were random, by which I mean they didn’t even have the word I was searching for. This is unprofessional and makes ANet look incompetent.

Did another search for the word guild on the Accounts Forum. It gave me ONE post, from that day.

Your post is unclear about what happened. What do you mean you were titled twice. What titles.

It’s a thought. Except you realize you wouldn’t get 300 to 450 gold if everyone could sell skins that they no longer wanted. The market would be flooded with all the currently account bound/soulbound skins that are not sellable right now.

If aiming to retrieve a skinned item (e.g. Gas mask), the splitter will return the stat item and a non-stat version of the gas mask, i.e. you will have to use another transmutation crystal.

Gosh, I would buy them. I’ve used up 11,500 dragonite (46 stacks) so far making ascended weapons and trying to get more. Oh well. Back to Golem, Jormag and Shatterer and temples.

Idk. That makes no sense that they would ban you and be either unable to give a reason or to unban your account if it was by accident. It also makes no sense they would then tell you to buy another serial number for a termination they can’t explain.

It’s Friday and the Liason who posts here, Gaile, may be on the forum this weekend but also may not be until Monday. What I suggest is 2 things. Update your ticket and get more information from them and ask why they can’t unban your account if it was accidentally banned. The second is to post your ticket number in the stickied thread here for Gaile to read. She investigates the ones there and it’s easy for her to see your problem.

Suspended or banned?

Suspended is just for a period of time and then you can get back on. Banned means your account is permanently deactivated. If that’s it then you can’t get it back. You have to start all over again with a brand new account and brand new characters. This means you can’t apply a new serial code to the terminated account and restart it.

As to no reason, they always give a reason. It’s there on the screen when you try to log in and support can also give you the reason when you contact them.

Idk, for a finale reward maybe one box of goodies for every meta successfully completed for that LS arc. That way everyone is rewarded according to the amount of time and effort they spent. The new player coming in just on this one gets one box and the people who did multiple ones get multiple boxes.

Some servers will be free to transfer depending on their rating on March 14.

So if you are going to one of these servers then you won’t need to delete your characters to get a free transfer on that day.

Imo they will never set this up. The gold sink is one reason. The second is that no matter how scam or idiot proof you make a player/player trade, there will still be scammers and individuals who find ways around the safeties. The number of scams will increase and each scam requires time and money (for salaries paid to support personnel) for ANet to fix. They also take support’s time away from fixing real problems. ANet is happy with the current system as it does two functions, a gold sink and a scam proof way of trading.

What happens to my former character name?
After a character name is changed with the Name Change Contract, the previous name remains tied to your account for 24 hours. So if you change a character name, you may use the former name for a new character on the same account within 24 hours. Alternately, you may use two separate Name Change Contracts to swap names between two characters on your account, as long as you do that within 24 hours.

In order to swap names between 2 characters, you will need 3. That part is incorrect. To change both to something different or to change one and then switch the second to the first character’s name can be done with two.

To swap:
1) change character one to a different “placeholder” name- one NCC
2) change character two to the first character’s original name- one NCC
3) change character one to character two’s original name- one NCC

Change Good Guy Hespe to a variation on that, maybe just Hespe. Or Good Gal Hespe.
If you do something like that for both names then you will only need two name change contracts. If you switch you will need 3.

For a full set you need 50 total, of which you also need 1 rare and 1 unique (green).

Each mini must be different. If you put 2 of the same in, the second one won’t count toward filling the Hall. A full set will get you 8 points.

Tarnished Coast, Blackgate and Jade Quarry are full at the moment and you won’t be able to move to those servers unless you luck out and a spot opens up, although of course you can guest there. Which means you can’t WvW from them, only PvE. So any suggestions that name those servers, you need to keep that in mind.

I would say ele also. Lots of combo fields for the others to use and since the ele is squishy, it’s nice to level one up in a group.

A question would be, CAN you buy a Chinese copy? I’m in NA and I don’t think I can buy a EU copy, and vice versa. It was my understanding you could only buy a game copy from the region you are from. So, if it’s similar you may have to be over there to buy it or have someone from over there buy it for you.

Rangers can either have a pet on Guard (which means they will defend you if you are attacked) or on Avoid Combat. As I understand what he did here, the pet was set to Guard and then he went afk. What the pet will do then is attack anything which attacks you. It will ignore anything which doesn’t attack you.

If you buy a game you play it, why in the world wouldn’t you want to play it from the beginning. Starting as as level one newb and working your way up to level 80 by exploring and doing events. It seems to me to take all the fun out if you’re an immediate level 80 when starting out.

I can see using crafting to gain levels after you’ve leveled a couple of characters to 80 previously, but not at the very start of the game.

It’s practice. When I first started playing back at beta and for some time after, to do an AOE spell I had to stop moving, find my mouse pointer because I normally had no idea where it was, bring it over to the spot I wanted then hit the skill button. Now it’s pretty much automatic and I can do it while strafing. So, practice. It will take time but you will be able to do it without thinking.

The guild banks are not account bound because people, including the founder of the bank, can leave the guild. Since they can leave the guild and therefore the bank, it can’t be tied to one account. Also, it can’t be tied to one account because more then one account, all the accounts in the guild, can access it.

As to how to get stuff back, there are only two ways. One is to transfer back. The second is to give someone you trust access to the guild bank. They can then take your items out and email them to you.

That’s clumsily worded imo. All she had to say was yes it’s based on accounts or no, it’s base on people actually playing on that server but it seems she is saying it’s based on accounts.

In the past ANet has increased server capacity but only after there are multiple full servers, which takes some time. I’m not expecting them to increase server capacity for a while. Sometimes the server will briefly drop down from full, usually in the night time for the Americas. If he catches it then he can transfer. Otherwise he is going to have to chose a server and then guest.

There is one simple way to find out, change your Guild Wars 2 password. If your Guild Wars 1 password changes auto changes to the same thing then they are linked. If it doesn’t, then they are not.

They could also put in a tutorial. This is a combo field. This is what you can do with it. This is an example of a telegraphed boss move. This is how you dodge roll away.

They should at least have a tutorial in a game where people different skills interact.

Absolutely this game needs a tutorial in how to use combo fields and even how to dodge. I would go as far as to say its badly needed. However this has been mentioned several times since launch and has never been implemented.

I don’t know about that part but I do know that the linked accounts have the same password. If your accounts have different passwords then they are not linked. If you change the Guild Wars 2 password then the linked Guild Wars 1 password will change also.

Yes, like ExTribble said, contact support. They have sent people the ring that is the same except for the infusion slot, which in your case should be the Crystalline Band.

Just do map completions, including city maps such as Hoelbrak and Divinity’s Reach whenever you need more of the 1-79 level stones. You also have 5 character slots. Run the cities on them also. In addition, you can delete one of them, remake a character and repeat the cities again to get even more. There is really no reason to be short of the T stones.

The crystals, you might have to buy if RNG is against you.

Or if you are in LA he randomly teleports to different places, stays there awhile and teleports away.

Physical differences are one thing. Differences based purely on culture is another. One is essentially permanent. The other is transitory and changes not only through time but from one culture to another. Basing a preference on something permanent is not the same as basing it on something that’s not.
