I am getting a bit frustrated with how the thief healing works (as in 3 specific condition heals per spell bleed/poison/burning or crippled/stunned/chilled dependant on which skill you use)

Now I do use shadowstep to get in and out of really bad situations but in a sustained fight I have to use it at the last second because of the reset time (I would gladly give up a skill slot if I had some sort of siget which removed say 2 conditions without stipulating which 2, but that’s for another thread)

I would reall like some suggestions for how to maximise my healing without getting the usual nasty replies about just manning up – it’s not helpful and just ruins the whole playing expierence.

Suggestions for build are also welcome – I am a relitive noob (only ever played GW1 and a tiny bit of ranbow six) but I am open to CONSTRUCTIVE help (sorry had really bad exp on Diablo lll forum and gave up and sold the game – just wasn’t worth the abuse from the so-called expert gaming elite)

I have tried the suggestion of putting a short sound file at the begining of the playlist but I still hear only about 5-10 songs off my playlist. Is there a max number of songs that can be on one playlist? I don’t get any randomization of the songs, they always seem to play in order no matter what. I really want to know what I’m doing wrong.

Update: for whatever reason my playlist did not like the short clip I origianly used – have since changed it for another and it seems to be working but still finding some of the music isn’t cycling in the mix – is there a max number of songs?

Has anyone else noticed the horrible targeting with “target nearest enemy”?

I’ll have say a inquest attacking me and I have target nearest enemy binded to tab. I push tab and my toon targets a firefly well out of range and not involved in the battle at all.

How on earth does the game think I want to target this creature and not the one right next to me attacking me?

anyone else have issues with this? Or is there an easier way to switch targets that doesn’t involve clicking on their names?

This is not just a ranger thing – I’ve created 4 differnet charaters in 4 different professions and the ‘target nearest enemy’ is by far the most anoying thing for me as it’s caused me to die when I really didn’t need to.

My biggest complaint is the targeting of non agressive creatures when in a fight thus pulling in one more thing to try and kill you, which in some instances, leads to a mob that really didn’t have to exist. Why are non aggressive creatures auto-targets at all?

I can’t begin to describe my frustration at the number of times a freaking moa or a moose attacked me because the useless targeting system thought why not add one more enemy to the mix.

‘Field of vision’ seems to be a factor in choosing what targets to auto-target but the fact of the matter is if you get hit from behind you generally turn to see what the hell hit you so why not take that into account when ‘target nearest enemy’ is selected?

During fights, especially those that involve a large group (like boss/champ) or even in a mob I loose my mouse in the mele and if you’re trying to use target specific attacks it gets frustrating when you think you’re attacking the one in front of you but you instead drag in the one behind you (who then also begins attacking you)

Is there a way to make it bigger or change to a crosshairs or something so that it doesn’t get lost on the screen during crucial moments?

Now before I get a bog standard response saying how to reset my game account I want someone to notice it’s my support account email/login NOT MY GAME ACCOUNT that has been compromised. I have tried to change the settings in my support account but it says that my other address is already registered – but I never registered it !

I have tried to go thru the support site and explain this but they are either not reading my email or they are not fluent in english and don’t understand the issue I have.

I’ve tried resetting the password but no email arrives (is this an issue unto iteslf?) I know I can’t use the same address already linked to my game account but it says my 3rd account is also off limits – so how many addresses does arena.net expect me to have?

I have 3 address: 1 throw away which has been hacked/compromised/spammed to death and 2 that are secure, I want to swap the throw away for one of my secure addy’s

Why is this so dificult?

The prices are crazy!!! 8+ gold for a single Superior Divinity rune!!! Is this to force people to use the cash shop? :-(

That’s nothing! How can anyone justify 450 gold for a single item? most of the legendary stuff can’t be bought without spending real world money on gems – and as much as I enjoy GW2 I am NOT spending more money after buying the collector’s edition !

Has this made onto the dev radar yet? I am getting into some serious boss battles without knowing where my mouse is most of the time – someone suggested adding trails but I was thinking maybe in a fight it could change to a crosshairs, as it’s just a battle thing. I’ve also put a tweet up pointing at this thread to @GuildWars2.
