Following those links and using Zojja’s Claymore as example:
Weaponsmith lvl 1 to 400 : 22.5g
Weaponsmith lvl 400 to 500 : 76g
Craft the asc weapon : 60g
Total : 158.5g
Ascended gear are all account bound, not soulbound.

As a main ranger my tip is:
With a ranger equip Trolls Unguent, Signet of the Wild, Fern Hound pet and eat a Mango Pie.
All those heals stack with each other, also the strategy of removing all the Vit gear is the key for success.
You can also ask for a friend to create a water field for you, in that case equip sword/warhorn + GS, that way you’ll have a blast finisher and 2 leap finishers to heal even more.

Yeah 50 FPS for 2560×1440 resolution seems ok for the CPU.
GW2 doesn’t rely much on GPU, so most of your gtx 980 SLI isn’t even used while your 3570k holds most of the load.
I have the same CPU, you probably have a good CPU cooler, if so try to overclock it, mine handle 4 GHz easily and I don’t use water cooler and the weather here is quite hotWith a R9 270x, I get my 60 FPS (I use V-Sync and my monitor is 60 Hz so yeah …) in most places, but in some WvW zerg fights and in world bosses there is no setup in the world that can keep the FPS high.

The medium armor in the “New armor Sets” link is a trenchcoat and the one in “Heavy? Ley Line” seems a lot like a medium armor if you look at the mask, but still it is also a trenchcoat.

I also use an ASUS MoBo, in the BIOS options (before Windows start, press DEL as soon as you turn on your PC) look for CPU options and change the CPU multiplier and not the voltage, both will increase the clock but the voltage is much more dangerous and need to be VERY careful on how to change it.
@ 4 GHz my CPU stay around 75ºC with a Thermaltake fan cooler.
Try to google a bit about overclocking, it is not that hard if you don’t want to push too much, like make it run @ 5 GHz or something.
Against world bosses as I said, there is simply no setup in the world that will make it good, around 15~30 FPS is normal there.

Last expansion in that game was November of 2013 and in the beginning of 2015 there was 1 new raid and world boss … I’m happy with the GW2 pace.

You won’t get any gold from the LS.
If you are interested in AP and/or sinister trinkets then get it.
If you want the carapace/luminescent armor skin then get it.

This is an outright lie. SoloQ was MUCH faster than teamQ, and only reason why soloQ was deleted was constantly growing queue times for teamQ.

I meant if we get a separated queue for solo and team in the new system, like a solo/team unranked and solo/team unranked. The time would increase for sure.

Yeah, it feels frustrating to join a match with people that doesn’t speak your language against a TS organised team, with enough feedback a middle ground will be reached for sure.

The current system is quite good imo.
There is the Practice where you expect nothing from it, there you just make builds and go nuts, or go to complete your dailies.
We have the Unranked where you can play a real match but if you win or lose have pretty much no difference besides a few rank points.
We have the Ranked where if you are playing there solo you are doing it wrong in the first place.
With the previous system I only played the equivalent of Practice because I’m also quite casual and I didn’t want to mess with the rank point of others in the leaderboard in the SoloQ so I had no where else to go, now the unranked is perfect for casual players that want to join real matches instead of people forcing autobalance to join the winning team.

The matchmaking try to match solo player with other solo players, if none are found they try to match small parties until all requirements are filled.

You’ll be required to join as solo or as a full team, no in between?

I think it wise that a responsible answer to these questions because the truth is that they are not very clear , I reread the post of specializations elite , and this post says it can be changed with equal ease of especialiezación elite like when you change the standard specialization therefore it assumes that there is more than one.

What would be a good idea is make the pet gain a distortion-like effect, for the same duration of a dodge roll, that way the pet get the invulnerability frames they need and can keep attacking, server-side you won’t even need animation/status verification since it won’t interrupt whatever the pet is doing.
It is just like what OP suggested, but without the interruption issue.
EDIT: That wouldn’t be OP because the ranger would need to decide if he wants to use the vigor for himself or for the pet.

Why does it matter, though? It’s the same skin, and the name of the skin will always be “Illustrious”.
It is a bit of “OCD”, I also like to have my gear with the same pattern and in his case the helmet got different from the rest.

There is a way but imo it is not worth the price …
Use the new MF recepi to change the armor piece to another stats then do it again to get the zojja, you’ll end with a brand new zojja’s visor, also all the runes and infusions will be lost.

I won’t be able to give the numbers right now but the idea would be:
Armor + Weapons + Jewels with power as main stats
Runes + Foods with power as main stats
Depending on profession, traits/skills that gives power
Sum all that and you’ll get the max power available.
About precision, you can get above 100% crit rate, but it won’t help at anything so it is just wasted points.

What is the purpose of Ferocity exactly? It increases crit dmg, yes, but so do Power!
More Power = higher sustain AND higher crit numbers.
More Ferocity only adds to higher crit numbers.
You are correct about power, but you’ll reach a point where you can’t get any more power and at that point you need to balance precision and ferocity.
Too much precision and you’ll waste stats since it has a cap.
Too much ferocity and you won’t have enough crits to proc all that ferocity.
Also, ferocity is a multiplier, so its increase isn’t linear like power.

With megaserver such a thing makes no sense anymore.
Just join a RP guild or group and play it.
There is simply no way ANet force a server transfer because TC is the UNofficial RP server.
EDIT: forget my last sentence. Yeah, ANet never wanted to make official RP server, the problem is that if they do they’ll need to make and enforce rules there and that demands an extra effort that won’t bring much revenue back.
