tbh we always had general rules making rules for each encounter while not using them for all (Immo not allowed except tar) is just stupid we should just go back to the rules after the last meeting.

Tbh it’s nice to have the records set on http://gw2dungeons.net/ that doesn’t mean tho that the people of the website should have the power of making the rules. The rules were CLEARLY made on the last meeting back when DnT hosted the record stuff NOONE had problems with approving and rule management, so why is this voting stuff made now? Because approvers don’t know if it should be approved or not. The logical answer would be that approvers don’t know what the ruleset is about. If it is really that unclear (which in my opinon is not the case) then go on some issues. But things like rtl in molten facility which are obviusly out of bounds, what was always unrestricted, or Immobalizing which was always restricted are things were voting is totally unnecassary.

I agree to Miku we should just revert the rules to the last meeting and have a meeting every few months.

Atleast tournament is with the “right” ruleset, before things got crazy. Everyone knew of those issues for such a long time. For example immo, traumanova ooze this is known for atleast half a year now, why do we discuss it then, since no one cared back then?

Jerus, it should be approved in a way of all time record. We will see what happens with currrent records anyway soon (If reset or not).

but tbh if a new guild set a good record should they get equal votes because they are new and got one record now i think it would be needed to discuss about such things.

no i think all time records show more of the community how it was and as i said i would let old guilds like rT and DnT still vote since they were big in the community for new ones if they get close to all time then sure but tbh 50 seconds slower might nerf did never change so much ;P

i think guilds of all time records should have a vote tbh not current meta because there are current meta records far away from all time. But i think every guild should have the same amount of votes because if not big guilds can just over vote small ones. Also going back to records i think those records should be holded for more than a week more like 2 weeks atleast. Another point is that guilds which are known in PvE should have a general vote aswell since there are guilds which were known in the past but aren’t that interested in records anymore.

Might be better to give big guilds like 2 votes but not sure with that.

in our best attemp (with a good second boss) i had 13 seconds cooldown if i remember right so ya doesnt matter

Could save ~20 seconds if we managed to kill the NPC to skip the dialogue at the end (yay, RNG) and probably some seconds on top of that with generally better RNG.

I sum it up for you

Bolt – No Lightining on weapon after some time
Incinerator – No flame
Moot – No shining on the head after some time
Frostfang – no breathing after sometime
Juggernaut – No silver effect after some time
Predator – No fire after some time
