- Fixed an error where solo que match making would put people of massively dissimilar rank together
- Fixed an error where players were able to get 5 stacks of dishonor. Players are now blocked from solo que and team que after 2 stacks.

2. Formatting Hot Join. to prepare new players for competitive formats such as tournaments. meaning that it’s time to set hot join maps at 5 vs 5 games, so as to not confuse and frustrate new players coming into tournaments from hot joins. 16 player matches are wildly different from 10 player matches, and if the community wants 16 player matches that is what custom arena is for.
I’d go even farther. Losing team gets their glory/rank gain cut in half. Remove points from skirmishes, double points from killing players defending nodes and for defending itself.
And here I was wondering why I’m getting matched with people that keyboard turn, can’t res, can’t stomp, fight off points, can’t dodge or talk in teamchat.

All this ele crying aside, the classes are fairly well done in terms of HP. Guardian and thieves are there with the lowest but between the blocks blinds stealths teleports evades retaliation passive heal passive condi clear, their effective HP is much higher. Compare this to the necro who has high hp and a second HP bar which means absolutely nothing when people decide they don’t want to have 25 stacks of bleed and proceed to tear out his small intestine from his mouth.
It’s best to think of hp pools with respect to disengage skills, ability to heal, ability to apply boons like protection and vigor, and ability to cleanse conditions. Ele can do all of these. Until the string of nerfs to eles, they were near-unkillable death machines. They could use some love now, but until recently they were #1 in sPVP and WvW.

After some tyhorough testing (Reading, wrecking people that dont bring stunbreakers in pvp) I can agree with the sentiment that, Stuns, when combined with sustain from healing signet(heaven forbid the banner) will wreck most everything that doesn’t spam blinds blocks and evades.
It would probably be a good idea to decrease the power of healing signet in pvp only. Once (if) anet adjusts the condi meta we will see more people taking stunbreaks/stability.
Anet please select ONE aspect of the warrior and shave it down, not all of them. I dont want to wake up, read patch notes and see
- all stuns halved
-healing signet halved
-stance duration halved
-block duration halved
-warhorn cd increased by 100%
-Sword 2 leap reduced to 300 range.
I’d love to have bows that aren’t kittenting out flowers and ponies. Hopefully whoever was responsible for the joke legendary designs (Quip/Bows etc) has “moved on to pursue other interests”
Badges currently feel like a side currency added onto the other cost, even though it should be the other way around. So long as it only cost badges and not 50 laurels/gold.

My group lured him out of the middle than hit him tile he died, rolling to the side when appropriate. It was a very nice alternative to afk pushing 1 on 30 mil hp bosses.
I like all these cutscenes but they need skip buttons. It’s fine the first time but never again.
Bosses were all pretty squishy, than again my group is 4 zerker wars and 1 engineer we carry along for moral support.
The rewards are trash but that’s to be expected.

That’s because Southsun and everything in it was complete kitten and they nerfed the only good things about it (rich ori node, t6 mat farming) while leaving all the trash.
I just saw that guild wars 2 is finally available in MLG which is also hosting a cash price tournament tomorow. Does it mean that guild wars 2 is finally an esport?

If the preview of the update is anything to go by it seems like the reward for this new TA path (and/or it’s living story meta achieve) is another (ugly) backpack and reskins of some (ugly) weapons
I’m sure whoever’s in charge there can take a look at the decline between SAB 1 and SAB 2 and understand a large part of the decrease was due to the immense nerfing of rewards. I hope the rewards for running the new Path will extend beyond what is listed, preferably beyond a measly 1.5g once per day and 60 tokens.
Some helpful examples
- New soulbound recipies for all crafting disciplines purchasable in the LA Vendor that make a variety of useful things
- A much increased amount of Empyreal Fragments with a chance at an Empyreal Star
If this “Kuraine” person can take the time to post on Neogaf, about how “hopeful s/he is that we’ll see why this was the focus for October” I’d hope s/he could get sanction to post on the official forums as well. Unless it wasn’t sanctioned, in which case I hope s/he is fed to the wolves of posting academy.
Theres nothing wrong with zerker. It’s the condition cap and the “dodge this or die” nature of the game that needs modifying.

The problem is people can jsut click a button to join your group. There’s no warning ie
" ‘Player Name’ Level X Class Y wants to join your party. "
Frankly people that can’t read the description usually fail at coordinating. If I say I want all 80’s it means I want all 80s. If I say Path 3 of Dungeon y it means path 3 of dungeon Y. If I say I don’t want Class A don’t join with Class A.

This dragon isn’t for casuals, and it’s about time hardcore organized people in guilds had a real challenge.
I agree, and that content should be instanced so your guild can do it without people messing it up for everyone else. Unfortunately it’s not instanced and anything that requires more co-ordination than “not standing in a red circle and hitting the thing with all the buttons til the badguy falls down” isn’t something I want to do with random people in an overflow.

Optional would imply I had the option to do old teq or new teq. If I wanted a challenge I’d go play a non-MMO, I went to world bosses for free ecto’s.

- One use Gemstore Armor
- No Wardrobe System
- Useless mini’s and townclothes
- Once/day/account rewards
It would be MUCH MUCH more of a shock if it was suddenly changed to be player friendly. Everyone who’s still complaining about this needs take a long hard look at anets past decisions than ask yourself if account bound anything seems like what they would do.

1 elder dragon/year would be fine. By that time other (better) MMO’s will be released or ncsoft will make “improvements” to maximize revenue or GW3 will be announced.
Great, more salads. Add them to Moeface and Eir’s brat and we’ve almost got DE 2.0. I foresee the player having to carry them all on his/her back while dealing with the villains of the month until anet is finished building the next dragon. Then we’ll have to take care of that while DE 2.0 gets all the credit.
If you have 1500 range, the fight is trivially simple. You just have to dodge the knock-down when you start hearing the banging noise to minimize downtime. Aside from that, I’ve stood near the barrels for just about most of the fight.
Which is actually kind of sad to be honest.
I’ll park my LB ranger there to smack him once a day.
