Sword damage need to be looked at.. Its slow and worse than dagger in long output..

Sword / Dagger.. Skill #3 is practicly useless.. never lands most of the time
Sword / D-P .. Skill#1 need a bigger damage output, or add poison to cripling strike and remove weakness and fumble
Swords #1 Tactical strike is at 782 ( way to low, you can throw two #4 dancing daggers and I dont have to even go into stealth )damage.. make it atleast like daggers front damage, around 900

Sword in general need to be buffed… its way to slow and most of the skills got to lil damage output, or dont work properly.. it also provides no condition damage so it kinda needs to be higher damage instead

I stated out this fact because i (really) think that this is what costs you the match eventhough you dont fight for points or glory. But wouldnt it be way more fun to be able to stand a chance than dropping 100% life in 2 secs just because you think WvW is still fast leveling like it was back in days of the daily matches?

I was on for about 2h ago.. And we had around 20-30 people at 4 maps.. While there was 15 from DE at FSP map and even more on any other map.. Exept for UW BL.. so not sure how u r counting

My semester starts the 14th.. So I got loads of time atm.. Anyhow my guild is asleep and I already had my daily dose of WvW for today
And I dont know if you have been reading this thread but the issue here is about the nightcaping..
We fight both you and UW at those times all the time, the issue is what happens after 1-2am where most people is already in bed..

i just transfered today on Fs, from an top server, cause my pc cannot handle large scale battles anymore
My first impresion after 1 hour of WvWvW in Fs
pro’s : is on low tier at this moment so it has an chance to rebuild
few dedicated players
con’s : main : to low manpower at the moment , and few other minor issues

Anyhow FS is going down hill any way you look at it.. PvE is starting to hurt now aswell so I dont think there will be long before PvE community here starts to transfer over aswell

Seems this thread is becoming more of a QQ from people who hate thiefs rather than thiefs giving feedback on the class :P

I agree with you Stin but I was mostly talking about WvW.. sPvP is a total difrent matter.. I run a bleed build there, rather than crit build like in WvW. Cuz I got more awerness where everyone is..
But my point stands, any good Ele/Mesmer can kill a good Thief in WvW.. unless thief just runs away.

The thing is there isnt that many eles or mesmers that is good.. very few jsut like thiefs.. Which why any thief goes for the burst first.. Then they dodge.. mesmers invis.. Ele ports.. giving them enuf timet to spawn elusions or apply chill on you.. And at the point when you dont kill him and he dodges you wont have steal.. and that will pretty much give him advantage

I would say range on daggers could be slightly better.. Anyhow
A good Ele will always beat a good thief
A good Mesmer will also beat a good thief
and well Rangers are very good in teams not 1v1

Why? cuz face it they willl kite us to death if they dont die in the first 5sec.. All you need to beat a thief is to dodge and roll for 6 sec intil the int runs out and then you can just take him on easly.. And at that point all thief can do is run..!
In the end every Thief will be P/D and no longer be a High DPS classs but rather annoying lil kitten who sings cant touch this..
Fix culling and get Higher slow reduction on DD or make it with less int.. That is all

He might have had another stealth stolen from a thief.. In that case he probably used haste to execute it fast.. Only explanation comming to my mind atm

I think this sole thing just ruined WvW for alot of servers..!

When the GW2 started there were alot of players on every server and WvW maps were never empty.. in the pasts months that camme to a change.

I started on FS server and WvW were always packed with action.. That soon camme to an end when people started Server jumping so they could be with the strongest server..
Logging in now in peak times, every map here is outmaned and barely any commanders left..

Its to late to fix this issue but I feel theres a solution if we merge some servers that is underpopulated or 2nd and 3rd place get some bonuses in WvW..

This idiotic server jumping alot of people are doing is rly hurting the server.. it jsut makes weaker server get weaker as people leave it cuz theres no hope in winning cuz everyone is getting zerged by the most populated server..

Thoughts are welcome, ( sorry if theres already a thread about this )
