Really I don’t know how many times happens that a group kick a member to sell the spot. I have played with three/four guys of the same guild and everything went well (example Arah). Anyway I agree with you that this is another issue of the current party system.
About the limitation of classes, I’m with you when you look for a specific class and another one join, that is like the example above: “no f2p player” and they join anyway… But maybe this could bring a total lock out of some classes from almost all activities in game, for example rangers are always seen as the black sheep of the group.
Hello, I’m here to discuss about the party system and lfg system too.
Are they still valid as they were created? Well for some reason I think no.
First reason: lot of free to play players join team without knowing what they are doing, so why there isn’t an option to refuse, in some cases, the joining of free to play players? I don’t want to totally limit the free to play guys, but in any game there are rules, so if I write in lfg message: “no f2p player” and they always come I would be allowed to report them as lfg abuse.
Second reason: the legit sell of dungeon has been already talked about and it doesn’t violate the rule, and now that I discuss about the party system, why there isn’t a party leader that should have mind to keep a group? The actual system make me kicked out the party while selling a legit dungeon, only because 3 guys, that I really think are friend of each other, didn’t want to pay the common price asked for that dungeon. I have already reported them, and I don’t know if that will help a lot to save other players from them.
I have lot of experience in game, and I ask you again to discuss about this system, for me is not valid that who starts anything in game (dungeon, fractals or other) could be kicked out of party from strange guys with empty reason.
P.S.: actually I’m not telling the name of those 3 guys that kicked me, but I can say that in any moments. Are guys with 10k+ ap so they should be more serious….

I have to ask, where is your proof it’s on Anet’s side? Did you run a traceroute and show the issue at Anet’s servers or ISP?
From a traceroute everything seems ok, but is not if I play expecially from late afternoon and the evening in Europe CET.
The issue is not costant, the game works for some seconds/minutes then there are high peak of latency and when is totally unplayable the lag goes from 40s to over a minute.
This has started to happen after the last main patch and most after the launch of f2p. On my PC I have done any changes in that period of time, and the issue happens only with Guild Wars 2 game.

But the problem with your example is that you actually paid for those days. Here, you do no such thing. You only paid to own, and you still own it. Regardless of your exprience.

Well I have had enough of that extreme latency in game. Are weeks that lag is out of control and the past days the game was totally unplayable to me. I have heard that others have noticed that, some more, some less, all over the world!!
And so, nobody of ArenaNet has said anything about that, while Arenanet itself is ready to announce the future expansion, the third anniversary “sales” and the free to play version of the game.. Well all things that are explicit related to money/marketing.
I am not against new players and especially f2p players, but I haven’t paid Guild Wars 2, lot of gems and Guild Wars 2 Heart of Thorns to let them play for free, while I can’t totally do a piece of dungeon or else in game. Maybe it’s ok for you, but not for me.
So you like your politic of money, ok let’s talk about money. Here in Italy, if an adsl provider stops his services for any reason it is obliged to pay back all the days of disservice.
Well now I ask to ArenaNet to pay back all the days that are unplayable to the players that have bought the game and if necessary to block all the f2p player until ArenaNet itself doesn’t provide to rise the server power necessary for a good game experience.
Really I don’t understand this part:

Hi, ok lot of items are actually missing in API:2/items, but Lawton said that soon or later that will be fixed.
Now I’m continuing to read the data from API:2/items and I have some issues.
First issue: the items says how many and which infusion slots they have, but that is not the same for the common upgrade slots. For example the item ID: 42426 (Sclerite Karka Shell), how can I know that this item doesn’t have any upgrade slots? In that case I can’t consider that all ascended item doesn’t have any upgrade slots, while all the other items yes.
Second issue: for recipes there is the API:2/recipes that gives all the info about the crafting disciplines required and the minimum rating required to craft the item. For materials there is the API:2/materials, but I don’t find any info about which crafting disciplines can use them and at which rating. I don’t understand if I missing something, I have already seen wiki pages, but nothing yet.
Hi Lawton, I have found some items that exist in game but not in API:2/items, items like the following ID: 49957, 39151 and maybe something else.
I know that these items exist because I have them and API:2/characters/inventory returns their ID written above.
If you can check missing items while fixing flags I appreciate it, thank you ;D
Related to Flags I have noticed that some items have incorrect flags. For example:

Hello, I have just created an app that retrieve all the items from the API:2/items. Following the information on the wiki page http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/API:2/items , I have tried to split all data by type. Currently there are 15 types of items, but the “MiniPet” type is incorrect. All the minipets in the API are “MiniPage” type.
Is this type (“MiniPage”) the right one or there is something wrong in API:2/items?
Hi, I’d like to send an emblem to take part in the Guild Emblem Contest. The YourNameHere.psd file is really huge (61,4 MB) and when I edit it, it requires 2 MB more. I zip the file and it becomes 47~48 MB. When I upload the file I get a “File size exception”.
I have tried to use the Emblem example.psd that is about 50 MB and when I zip my new file it becomes a bit less than 35 MB, but yet I get the same “File size exception”.
Which is the maximun size I can upload for the contest and how can I reduce more the size of the zip file? I have used the deflate method of compression because I don’t know which method you support. I’m asking info about this problem because the contest rules don’t explain anything about this.

I think this is a great change. It puts turrets in line with pets and minions. Not being able to be critted and immune to conditions is what made them so “OP” from a perspective of fighting against them. This is basically the change that we have been asking for for turrets for a long time. Although as a necro I didn’t have too much trouble with turrets, although sometimes they could be annoying.
It doesn’t put them in line with pets and minions.
As a ranger, I can give my pet protection, might and other goodies.
Every minion can receive boons. Heck, thieves can instagib people by using thieves guild and sharing three venoms.If you truly care about bringing turrets in line with other minions, then go and demand for turrets to be affected by boons and other effects.
I quote naphack.9346 and remember that boons applied by turrets are given thanks one of the last added trait.
Turrets and necromancer’s minions were always so OP that were always easy to destroy / kill…. Now turrets are useless everywhere, like minions that stuck during combat without fighting…
That’s the reason of my contrariness.
I don’t understand the problem to fight the turrets, with the common dps builds turrets were easily destroyable, for example with my elementalist I always destroy all the turrets in the area with 2 skills in few seconds. Now with the same elementalist I will destroy them with one skill and half the time, oh maybe now some of you say that the elementalist is OP and so on.

A turret = a non-living item that can be affected by conditions… and critical hits too… totally meaningless.
Ok if engineer’s turrets are OP, please fix them with more logic… otherwise let everybody to affect by conditions and critical hits walls, gates, siege weapons and every non-living items …
I’m with you guys, actually I’m at 37/100, but this achievement is really boring. You must spend lot of time and you get nothing, no points, no items, no money, totally nothing and this achievement is really hard. I think that some changes would be really necessary. Maybe a fast respawn of the skill itself would change a lot the difficulty of this achievement.

Same error here, but in The Grove. I’m unable to load some of my characters there.
Hi guys, some of my characters are blocked in The Grove. A friend of mine has just tried to leave one of his characters and when he has relogged an error had appeared.
I don’t know what’s the problem, this morning everything worked fine.
Seems that you can travel to The Grove, but actually is better that you don’t leave the characters there before logout.
Maybe tomorrow with the new patch there will be a fix.
I’m still waiting an update that let the level 1 to 20 scrolls of the 2nd birthday to stack with the 1st birthday ones, but after the feature pack of september 2014 another item given as gift for the first birthday is making me angry.
With the new minipet system is totally useless to keep copy of the same mini, but for the account bound ones? For all Mini Queen Jennah minis? I can’t sell them, I can’t use them into the mystic forge, I can’t exchange them, and so!?!? I’m stacking more than 15 Jennah minis and I can’t use them, so the first birthday gift is really bad at the moment.
I hope in a possibility to exchange this minis for example for any kind of consumable.
I like to have lot of characters, I bought the additional character slots, and I don’t want to be rewarded with all of these unusable items.
If there is something I don’t know about the exchange of this mini, please tell me

I understand this, but what do you do if you use an ascended gear on 2+ characters? Speak about sigils and runes, some of them are expensive and I don’t think that you buy them everytime you move one of these gears. Each character has a build, and a build requires runes and sigils too.

I would like to know what is the utility of having ascended or legendary equipments account bound if each character uses different runes and sigils. I agree in full to the fact reported by ArenaNet to repay the playing time of the players, but it does not make sense.
Why not use a system similar to the pvp one, where for each ascended or legendary equipment everyone can unlock runes and sigils simply adding them to the equipment itself?
I think this will be a great reason to have ascended or legendary equipments account bound, aren’t you of the same idea?
I did some fractals lvl30+ and got always infused rings, but a friend of mine got always not infused rings. Before the update rings were always infused at 26+, so I think that this could be an issue to be fixed.
