Support this. Why would we get dyes in PvP when we can’t use them IN PvP?
Also, the whole point of endgame is to look shiny, why is our gear splashed in blue and red and green colours in sPvP and WvW?
Hey, so for anyone that doesn’t know there was this instance in GW1 where you could display all of your achievements, trophies, accolades, titles, weapons, armors, miniatures, companions/heroes, pets and so on, and this gave you points and skins in GW2.
Since the infrastructure’s already in place, we should have a HoM in GW2 aswell. Would be awesome to have a place to e.g display your legendary weapons, your rank in sPvP, dungeon weapons and armors, armor skins, titles, achievements etc., e.g a statue for defeating the Shatterer, Claw of Jormag and Tequila, a banner/statue for achieving higher ranking in sPvP, for winning tournaments, for completing all jumping puzzles etc.
At the least, it would give us some coherent, overarching “goal”, some place to show off all our achievements in the game, and would be an extra motivator to complete and participate in different sections of the game.
Perhaps it could be tied into Guild Halls if and when they are implemented, e.g you can upgrade your Hall through influence and achievements, such as finishing activities together or for 25 individuals doing this or completing that, and in the Guild Hall each member would have their own instance that would function as a Hall of Monuments, perhaps unlocked through the “Architecture” tab in the Upgrades section.
Sound beeping, then game crash in mass WvW situations.

This happens to me aswell during intense group fights.
I don't understand the logic of Map completion/jump puzzles in WvW

How come it is impossible to have a discussion on this forum without being overwhelmed by fanboys and holy defenders, who refuse to accept any suggestion and tell the OP to man up or get out?
I cannot for the life of me understand how someone can be opposed to removing WvW as part of World Completion; technically, it’s not even a part of the world, as it’s in the Mists. By that logic, sPvP and dungeons, which is actually in the world, should be required aswell.
All this does is lead to people flooding WvW queues to do non-PvP-related activities, which leads to higher queue times, more frustration, less people doing battles and more PvP’ers having to wait in 2+ hour queues.
Honestly, there is not a single argument one can put forward to defend the current situation, which is why, I guess, there’s only knee-jerk reactions in this thread about how the OP needs to go back to WoW, learn to play or not expect being fed with a silver spoon.

Could someone tell me why these forums are filled to the brim with people who constantly whine about how others complain or make suggestions?
In this thread alone, there’s perhaps 5 people who have said “Well, you know, in DAOC, relics didn’t reset and we would spend 15 hours per day digging a hole with a spoon under the enemy camping our spawn so we could get out the other side; those were the good old days, so stop complaining and be happy!”
The fact is that these so-called oldschool MMO’s are all dead or dying because of those mechanics, and GW2 will go right down the gutter aswell unless adjustments and changes are made to compensate for e.g maldistribution of server populations, which in turn leads to massive queues on some servers and no queues on others, and this will inevitably lead to people quitting because they are tired of getting steamrolled or tired of being in queue for 2+ hours, leading to server merges and consolidation in a downward spiral until all that’s left are the nostalgic hardliners who complain about people making suggestions on forums.
In other words, you won’t try to choke of debate, discussion and legitimate grievances that people put forward if you like this game, the reason people don’t just quit and go to another game is because they like this one.
1. Remove WvW as a part of the World Completion achievement, so people don’t fill up queues and run around doing non-PvP-related activities.
2. Increase Karma Rewards in PvE and decrease them in WvW, so that rewards are somewhat balanced and people don’t feel compelled to zerg around capping and defending in WvW to farm for their legendaries or PvE gear.
3. Incentivize server transfers so that server populations are spread somewhat evenly, don’t penalize guilds by stripping them of their upgrades and influence, for example, and ensure low-population servers always have a low or free transfer cost when transferring from high-pop servers.
4. Remove crafting nodes and institute some form of faster AFK removal system.
5. Make the Eternal Battlegrounds jumping puzzle a non-PvP area, e.g give everyone the starting area “Determined” buff, and compensate for this through automated traps perhaps, in part to discourage camping and griefing, in part to ensure people who are in WvW just for the puzzle finish it fast and move on to join the battle or leave WvW to allow others to come in.
6. Create a separate WvW level bracket for players between 1-79 and one for max level players, this will ensure a more balanced playing field for both groups, as low level players tend to get steamrolled despite being boosted, whilst queues are further reduced.
7. Establish a queue option that automatically queues us for the map with the lowest queue time, and allow us to see a map of WvW before queue’ing up.
8. Implement the Alliance System we had in Guild Wars 1, and create some form of Alliance vs. Alliance or GvG format, to allow guilds and alliances to battle eachother in some form of large-scale PvP format, though perhaps in a smaller map, e.g limited to the Eternal Battlegrounds, as this might decrease queues aswell, though disorganization might commence as organized groups in regular WvW will be lacking.
