I was banned today as well for saying EDIT TO REMOVE OFFENSIVE COMMENT

I absolutely think it was perfectly fine what I said. The rules for this game are extremely strict and for reasons I will never understand, clearly. A 3-day ban for a word that most people use daily? How about a warning? How about a 4 hour ban that progressively gets extended as offenses occur? or how about you just let me play the game I spent $60 on? It makes me not want to buy your games in the future if I am going to get such a severe penalty for something so ridiculous.
I love playing your game. You guys did a fantastic job making it and I love all the free content. But when it comes to your Rules and suspension system you guys fail miserably and you are turning away paying customers. This incident and the way I’ve been treated over it will stick with me and it will be a deciding factor the next time I consider purchasing anything from your company.
Yeah great game. Just don’t count on the customer service to have your back even if you are being treated like kitten from the people banning you.
It makes me sad that I can’t count on great customer service on a game I enjoy playing. And I’m not going to report someone for saying something that stupid. This is 2012(almost 2013). Swearing is normal. And the report option isnt meant to be “I dont like you goodbye for 3 days even though what you did was silly and meant nothing”
If they would send a warning out first, that would almost solve all these problems. But sure, if I play again after this, I will now know that I have to be careful with everything I do in game if I dont want to be “suspended” from playing the game I paid for, without a warning.

If you don’t want people complaining about “suspensions” then ban appropriately to what was done. Saying “stupid head” shouldnt mean 71hour ban no warning. I’m pretty sure people would take the hint if you guys sent a warning first. AND then your “great” customer service wouldnt have to ignore all those tickets. INSTEAD, you would get GREAT customer support ratings for treating people fair and square.
Well if thats truely how they do, then they have to accept that their customer service will soon be set to “horrible amateurism” other than “Fair and great service”.
We’ll see what happens though. I hope I will in fact get a reply on my ticket. If not, then Im done supporting them. I thought highly of Anet because they were truely great at the release of the game. But if that was only a mask to lure people in, and now they treat us like this, then Ive got better things to do.
I was just banned for “inappropriate language”. 71hours no warning. And all i did was replying to an insult with a another insult, that was more meant to be funny.
Seems like to me, that Anet doesn’t give a * * * * about the individual player here.
Well it seems like Im not the only one struggling with outrageous treatment from the customer service. I will keep addressing this until I get a reply. Right now I expect full neglectance from the customer service, and when the 71hour ban ends up in 3 days, they’ll probably close the ticket since its no longer an issue.
I will not tolerate this kind of treatment. Im a paying customer that supports the game and have a good time by making others enjoy the game with me. I don’t deserve this.
Someone greeted me and the rest of the world “hi noobs” and I reply “hi *” 5min after Im banned for 71HOURS?! No warning or anything. 3days ban for replying a rude remark to another rude remark for fun. Sure I can understand that such language isnt appropriate, but 71hours without warning?!
not only did the person that originally insulted EVERY PLAYER ON THE MAP report me for replying, but I got a 71hour ban for something that minor?
This is outrageous beyond belief. Anet has gotten great ratings regarding customer service, and I’m greeted like this on a christmas day?
This is unfair and I want access to my account that I paid for. At least send out a warning next time.

Lol? I love underwater battle on my ele. My skills hurts like a kitten truck. And beside, we got skills for pretty much every situation, just learn to switch elements.
If you don’t like playing elementalist, then leave them to us that knows how to use them. I’m doing an amazing job farming gold. I’m doing a great job in wvw, also when I’m forced to 1v1 coward thiefs that stealth 99% of the time. Sure it’s tough but play your cards right and you can beat any class. Of course there will always be people better than you, so you won’t win every 1vs1 even if you learn how to use your skills properly.
As far as dungeons goes, I’ve just started doing them, but I see no problems whatsoever.
