Oh and i most certainly didnt enjoy doing COF. Path 2’s npc is kitten the point is your dungeons arent well-design and it is a real hassle to grind along with the pointless mechanics called diminishing returns

Hello, i understand that whining now nor later would make a difference to the developers choice, but,

can you guys at least give us an npc / quest / short dungeon similar to GW1 to ascend our Current gears please that will save us the trouble for that need to grind for some “imbal gear”

Sorry but i would like to re-quote this:
1) ‘we have found that our most dedicated players were achieving their set of Exotic gear and hitting “the Legendary wall".’

2) ‘Our desire is to create a game that is more inclusive for hardcore and casual players alike, but we don’t want to overlook the basic need for players to feel like they are progressing and growing even after hitting max level.’

3) ‘The only way to mitigate Agony damage is by building up resistance through Infusions, a new type of upgrade component that can be acquired in the Mystic Forge.’

My interpretations are that:
1.1) who are the most dedicated players? are you refering to players who are monopolising the markets? people who had abused exploits in the past to gain their legendaries, or simply just early adopters and keen and honest farmers? legendary wall; most of us aren’t even close.

2.1)Fair enough, WvsW is like the only thing keeping me (at least) motivated even though i have acquired full exotics etc well done for that.
2.2) you have done ENOUGH already by giving us sufficult exotics to forge, these look aesthetically pleasing enough to be desired. by to grind for stats on the other hand would be sickening. the soup is good enough stop changing the recipe.

3.1) you saying that to enjoy dungeons to the max, ascended gears are mandatory?
3.2) is this another gold sink? just when you thought mystic forge wasn’t enough

Yes for new content, no for ascended items
that freaking imbalanced
and simply unfair for those who outgrinded dungeons for the stupid tokens and people like myself who had transmuted dungeon armors into magic find gear.
imagine farming for full 3 weeks under the effects of DR; your “hopes” of limiting/capping botters.
word of advice, before you guys throw a stunt like this please clear out those existing botters, hackers (speed hackers, magic find hackers) thank you

I disagree with the idea of ascended gears! please take into consideration people like myself who had to grind the kitten dungeons for like what…everyday..over a span of 2 weeks and under the effect of DR just for the silly tokens. I suggest that our devs test this out for themselves before pulling stunts like this.
GWs’ philosophy was never about stats/attribute scaling its should bemore or less focused on skill… of course it is understandable that there might be people who disagree and would simply say “hey if you are pvp-oriented, just head to the mist”
however i would like to remind you that wvswvsw do exist and guilds get together to win for their servers. with an inclusion of acended gears i see an imbalance and a whiff of unfairness.

my view(s) are:
- make ascended gears only usable in dungeons, or at least make them on par with exotics in world vs world. [down-scaling]
-remove the extra stats when out of dungeons

Developers & fellow players, today i would like to make a suggestion regarding the unique lootable exotic set armors.
i would like to suggest the use of various unikittenfect(s) on use with these armors; meaning that, for instance the Khilbron set; a player uses the full set and is a necromancer in this case activates the elite lich form skill, under the effects of the completed armor he/she could uniquely assume the form of the Vizer khilbron which would be purely be a “unique skin” without any game breaking mechanisms involved.

likewise for the rurik set, whenever a player executes the skill 100 blades (Prince Rurik’s signature skill) the attack would standout amongst other players aesthetically in the fore-mentioned manner
