Hi. I was wondering if there will be any mage/warlock class. Because I feel that the game really lacks the mystery and the variety of skills they can add. The ele is too much using substantial skills and the mesmer is the opposite. Why can’t there be a classic mage with classic skills like fireballs, illusions, magical seals, calling mythical creatures healing, teleporting summoning storms and such.

Why can’t there be a classic mage with classic skills like fireballs, illusions, magical seals, calling mythical creatures healing, teleporting summoning storms and such.

There are a lot of weapon skills. However, you unlock them all by lvl 10 and then decide about your weapon and you are stuck with the same skills. Moreover, if you still manage to change your weapon alot there are still no new skills after the first 10-15 levels. The utilities are good but there aren’t lot of active skills with combat use and short cooldown. This is why I’m suggesting a solution: to any weapon make 2 sets of skills instead of one. The first set will be like now and the second will unlock at level 50. The player will be able to choose between 2 skills for each key (like you choose utilities) and then you get a lot more skills and a LOT more build variety. Another suggestion is to add more active utilities (like summons or attacks).

Hi, I see many players using FB (frost bow) as one of their utilities. What is it for? I don’t get the use of it because it doesn’t have neither good healing nor dps. So.. what am I missing?

Hi. I’m switching my weapon into staff and wanted some tips about traits and utilities for above average dps and good survivability (vitality+protection) and healing power.

I’m lvl 57. mainly doing exploration+ little bit of dungeons. I can afford more than one gear set. I’m looking for balanced build with above avarage of damage.

Hi. I’m playing with S/D, but I want to change my weapon into staff and I don’t have a clue on how to use it. I will realy appreciate if someone can explain to me how to use the staff in pve. Hi, what is the lion’s arch mystic forge? I know it is a crafting place but how does it work? How is it different from the regular crafting and from what level should I go there?

I’m also having similar lags. It isn’t from the new patch but it is from the day that I bought the game. I wanted to guest in a medium pop server but they are all EU and the game says that I can’t guest from american server to EU server.

Updating my AMD graphic driver fixed the problem

My brother is having the same problem… I think that it may be somethink with the graphic driver (nvidia maybe) pls help!

Hi. This topic isn’t for me but for anyone who has the installation problem: “download failed please check your internet connection and try again” or the problem: “Connection error(s) detected retrying…” . You may have already seen the firewall solution and AVG or even the ports solution. But before doing all of this, try a little thing and it is to uninstall the program: “speedbit video accelerator”. If you still have the problem, don’t warry! You just need to disable your firewall!
The other solutions (firewall, AVG, ports) can only help if this program is uninstalled, and try them only if what I wrote above didn’t help.
Please request sticky to help A LOT of people with the same problem!

I fixed it!!! For everyone with this problem or the problem of “connection error(s) detected retrying…” you just need to do a little thing. Uninstall a program named “speedbit video accelerator”, almost everyone with google chrom has it. But you still need to disable the firewall!!

Hi. I and my brother bought the game yesterday. I installed it without any problem but my brother can’t. He always gets the message: “download failed! please check your internet connection and try again”. We have the same kind of laptop but it only happens to him. We tried disabling firewall, anti-virus and opening ports.
Please help! We are trying this for more than 4 hours and we don’t know what to do.

Hi, I’m new to the game and today was my first day playing it. I have played only 1 hour as a sylvari but something realy bothered me. I was the only one around, I saw only 1 other player and that’s it. I’m in high populated server and still can’t find anyone. Is it only me? or is it the area? or is it just that the low level area are desolated?
