I believe it is the most important part of competitive PvP.
It can be achieved via the increase of control capabilities of every class, so that they will have choice, use their control abilities to kill that one annoying enemy, or save them to keep themselves and their allies alive later.

Have you ever considered allowing gambling in-game? Perhaps on sPvP tournaments? It might serve as an interesting way for folks to earn gold and take some gold/energy out of trading post speculation. (And it could serve as an additional gold sink as well.)

Or maybe it would just make everything worse?

The mystic toilet isn’t enough gambling for you? lol

The MF is just pure RNG. Betting on sPvP tournaments isn’t RNG. Everybody complains there’s no way to make money, this would be an interesting avenue that would also help promote sPvP as an esport.

(I personally am not a gambler and wouldn’t do it. I’m just curious as to whether it’d have an effect on the overall economy.)

Am I the only one thinking it would lead to “throwing” matches? I expect many players would tell all their friends to bet all their money on the other team, and then watch as they somehow fumble the keyboard, or their cat walks across it, or “Oh, sorry, the power flickered.” Just a coincidence that large sums of money were won when the match itself wasn’t.

I think the system that was suggested has to be some kind like this:
Two teams schedule a battle, each team gives something as an entry fee (for example 100 gems from each team), the winner takes everything except for 10 gems or something that would be sinked out of the game.
No reason to “throw” matches.

Crazy, "predictable"-random FPS drops...

I have similar configuration (AMD CPU and Nvidia GPU, little worse CPU and little better GPU though) and i have the same problems with FPS drops down to 10-15 from 40-50, however they occur much more often, they can even be forced with shaking the camera actively and rapid use of different skills.
And i hugely suspect, that there is a problem with GW2 optimization under AMD CPU, as most FPS problems i have read about on this forum all occur on AMD configuration.
No idead what to do with it.

WvW solution

So what is the problem with WvW now?I think that this problem is lack of support of large communities.This mode must be focused on the opposition of large guilds, both on one server and between different servers.

So we want to create WvW ultimate experience for guilds.What do we have to do?First, we have to add an option to capture the keep and keep it for guild for sensible amount of time(week, for example)
What do i suggest exactly?I suggest some sort of “War for imperium” from RO.Once per week(i.e. one WvW cycle) there will be a 12 hour break from ordinary WvW.During that period borderlands will be locked from the invaders(however solo players may have their fun fighting in the eternal battlegrounds).For this 12 hours, WvW in borderlands becomes a team death-match, where each guild is fighting to capture or to keep territory.First 6 hours are preparation to heal wounds, that were dealt by invaders(repare walls, build golems etc), next 4 hours are actual battle, when castles and keeps can be captured by guilds, and 2 hours are preparations for the invasions, as the WvW will continue normally.
Such modification will create motivation for the guilds to keep fighting in WvW, thus creating large WvW community.

Notes:
1)It is important to occupy other servers’ castles during ordinary WvW because you can drain their resources and thus strengthen your defense.
2)You can’t capture keeps, that are outside your server’s borderlands, you can only occupy them to drain resources.You will leave occupied keeps on other servers’ borderlands once the 12 hour team FFA war starts.
3)If your keep is occupied by other server’s guild, the keep still belongs to you, it is just occupied.
4)But it is bad to keep your keep in enemies hands, because they will drain your keep’s resources thus damaging all the upgrades.

I suppose custom arenas will support feature of modifying number of players on the map, plus there will be a possibility to set custom tournaments, if such mode will become popular.
BTW, aren’t you talking about Bloodline Champions?
