READY-UP QUESTION:

Why not implement pvp material/booster exchange NPC? This would reward all players for their time spent in pvp. Even if its just for a minimal amount of gold. Something is better than nothing.

Well yeah…. nothing will be done now because, in the future there will be seasons. I just hope the same problem won’t exist then.

Shocked to see I’ll be going from 56 to 80… I expected Shark and Phoenix would have been a surprise but, Dragon is definitely a shocker! I spend 99% of my time in pvp so it’s nice to be rewarded but, I feel bad for those who spent so much more time… at least you’ll have all your useless extra mats and glory boosters.. oh wait those are gone too.

A.net needs to implement a material/booster exchange npc just like the ticket exchange npc.

Not only that but when you see people in the top with less than 20 games played.. you just stop caring. The leaderboard should also decay faster for players with fewer games played than the average.

I’m pretty sure if A.net announced today or sometime soon that they would be adding a vendor to exchange boosters, such as the way tickets were handle, more people would be satisfied with that system than not. Plus there is still reason to use glory because the glory vendors will be removed and anyone wanting something from those vendors would need to use their glory, so they would not totally be going back on what they said and more players will feel rewarded for their time invested.

What do pvpers get from the bags?

Please help!!! I’ve been getting unplayable lag every night for weeks. Any word or advice? I would love to be able to play my favorite game again!

I see a lot of these posts are about 64.25.3×.xxx servers some even dated 2 months ago… Please investigate. Sadly, this issue has been ongoing for so long it makes me want to quit.. simply because I can’t play the game with my character rubberbanding so much.

I’ve had an ongoing issue with unplayable lag lately. Please advise.

Any notice or acknowledgement on this issue from A.net? Lag seems to progressively gets worse for many of us at night still (EST).

I had the same problem over the past few days. I’m in EST. Too laggy at night I couldn’t play. The game server list even lags to load. I wasn’t sure at first if it was ISP or Anet but, seems like others are having the same issue…

Each piece of armor is different… creating my own unique look.

Careful planning that takes advantage of off-peak hours, queue syncing, and stacking. This shot his MMR up very high.

Thanks for all your responses, it truly is appreciated. I understand how that could be a strategy but, the issue is that he’s played so few games compared to the others and the fact he just reached top1000: 2013-11-10 22:21:10 so either its a new account or like you said possibly played a match here and there went afk like others came back and then bam top 25. However, for someone to play just enough games to show on the leaderboard and then rank top 25 doesn’t make much sense. The minimum to show on the leaderboard should increase perhaps each day. This would help alleviate the issue, urge people to continue playing and still allow the leaderboard to fill out in the early days after reset.

Some of this will go away after we reset MMRs for everyone. Many people at the top are only very high because of the syncing and stacking that went on before the matchmaking change. After the reset they won’t be able to get easy wins to inflate and maintain their leaderboard ranking.

The decay being temporary will still be an issue, but as I mentioned we have plans in place that will deal with that.

He had a great start went 12-1 and as of now is rank 13. How can someone with only 12 wins rank so high when the majority of the top 100 have over a 100 games played? I don’t see how 12 wins should result in that even if he beat top 25 you would figure one would have to work their way up the leaderboard not be jolted to the top.

Makes no sense… I kinda hope titles aren’t given as a reward to the leaderboard. These guys would then be rewarded for going on a very short win streak and not playing for a while. It doesn’t represent skill or dedication. At least the QP titles given were based on total QP and that shows experience.

OMG there needs to be a fix for this! Its way out of hand!

Justin, please make sense of how a player can be #1 on the ladder with only 12 wins after this long.

Aside from the decay issue not being permanent.

I find it odd that players can win 9 and 10 matches and be ranked in the top 50 especially after all this time has past and the leaderboard established. Going forward Justin don’t you think that rating gains and losses should be weighted and against overall individual games played or scale with the entire community games played to get a true base of skill and a proper leaderboard ranking?

Hey Puma, nice polls. However, leave out joke selections such as “Dervish” in future polls.. it kinda takes away from the relevancy of the data for Anet. You could however add “None” to such a poll.

I think we should be allowed to switch characters up until the match begins.. anything after you get the leaver penalty.

This really shows how few teams are on NA paids… really need to merge pvp paids for NA and EU.
