I wonder if this will be fixed before the HoT Expansion.

I do enjoy Teq, but I don’t even bother with it if I’ve got to wait 30 minutes to get on a good map, and I’ve been DC’ed a few times after that.

It’s almost RNG to get on a nice map, RNG wether or not you get dc’ed :P

I always think it’s quite funny that dutch people promote/search for dutch guilds in english :P

A new character slot bought via the gems store isn’t a big deal. ATM it’ about 105 gold here in EU. That even isn’t alot of gold and I don’t see where the problem is.

That’s not what’s being asked :P, but thank you for that info.

I’d hope we get 1 character slot for the 1 new expansion, maybe even 2 if they count specialisation as 1 aswell.

Believe me, there are tons of players out there that do not enjoy Dragon Ball.
I don’t enjoy it, the only reason I play is because of the AP and laurel.

I actually have serious dislike for it, kitten wins may take anywhere from 25-60+ minutes!

They should just remove the daily participant and 5 wins and make it into a: win 1 game.

Participation actually promotes leechers who will just suicide to get the game over quicker.

I’ve played every single class, but my guardian holds 90% of my total playtime.

I can’t convince you to play guardian, can only tell you my opinion and that’s: I love it!

I believe the normal tactic is to report them for spamming or something else and hope the dev’s will notice him afk/suiciding in PvP.

There’s no report function for leeches / afk-ers so far.

I like this guide, but I’m not sure how helpfull this will be for new guilds.

Like you’ve said there are thousands of guilds, and you’re gonna make yours very specific in what it does before it’s even created. This can be great if there are lots of players who like this.

However you still have the issue of a starting guild (very low activity, no guild missions, players leaving often for another guild).

To have a chance I’d say start mass recruiting the first weeks, get in every player who you think is “nice”. Once you’ve got a solid foundation you can specify yourself more into one direction and recruit towards it.

You might loose players over time due to the specific direction, but as you’re also recruiting you should maintain some balance in numbers / activity.

Have a nice chat with the players you are recruiting, you’ll find out quick enough if they fit your guild or not (even when mass recruiting!)

To be honest, I don’t think it’s the visibility of the titles – but rather the content required to get the title.

In gw1 titles meant a lot to me, as some were incredible hard to earn or very time consuming. Titles don’t have the same status in gw1, maybe cause a lot of titles aren’t hard (maybe except Liadri title)

Just a quick question about Dungeon Tours, what dungeons are often in it?

If you’ve got 2 hours every day to tour dungeons, which dungeons would that be?
If you’d have to PUG these tours, would you choose different dungeons?

NA / EU?
PvE/PvP/WvW?
Casual/Hardcore?

They do. If you accidentally tab past a player, escape to deselect and retab, the first rotation will always be players but then I goes to AI.

What’s with the +350 vitality? Do you really need this?

Elementalist actually have the highest dps currently ingame, DPS depends on a lot of things: Gear and Traits in short.

Yes, Luck and MF are the same (can be seen on achievement panel)

Skill 6 is the dedicated healer skill, though some classes can trait more healing on other skills. Also gw2 isn’t all about healing, it’s also key to learn how to avoid damage!

Don’t think you can really compare beta with launch game GW2, maybe there’s an offset on their megaservers that put too many people on the same map.

Then again, maybe servers are overall more loaded cause of the more players.

The loading times been fine for a long time now, it’s just recently that it started to go all hay-wire. I asked others as well, and they seem to be suffering too.

If he really was a WvW Forum Specialist, he would have seen this coming a mile off. All the time he had spent in this forum would have prepared him for his introduction better. Also it’s not my computer problem, because I made sure to clear cache / restart my computer & restart my modem, turn off every other applications except GW2. But it’s still slow…

Not much you can do, other than installing an SSD.

I wished maps worked like GW2, maps you visited frequently would be saved on your HDD for fast loading, if you didn’t visit certain area’s the data would be released and you’d had to redownload that map when you got back to it after ages.

I already made a post that stated daily participation needs to be removed, because that attracts slackers/AFK’ers. Instead have a 1 win for the laurel and then continue on in the daily 4 (so still 5 total)

I also made a post where Dragonball is rewarded based on your team, where wintersday was based on your personal performance.

I agree, more different activities and less grinding to get them.
I don’t even care if we get another Donate to Ho Ho achievement…

We are looking for a guild which can offer the following:

• it is either english/international or german
  We’re european based, with a few americans who play at our timezone. (English speaking)

• the more members the merrier, so 50+ would be nice
  We’ve got 20-30 online most times, with roster around 200

• as said above, no requirement on as to when or how often to play the game
  That’s free to the player, though x weeks inactivity will get you kicked.

• laid back athmosphere
  Casual / Family style is our aim!

• We’re on Vabbi, but we would also be willing to join a guild from another server, but we can’t transfer
  No need to transfer for us

• (at least some) focus on PvE since we are both not too much into PvP or WvW
  We’re dedicated to PvE with players also doing PvP, only a few do WvW (We don’t offer WvW events as guild)

• a nice and helpful community that is able to deal with noobs like us
  We’re very newb friendly, you can ask anything

• NO MANDATORY TS or VoIP, though the option would be nice to have

i finished the daily without doing the 5wins thing… i guess its not too much

I like to do all the dailies that reward AP, yes I easily got the 3/3 reward but to get all the AP rewarding daily achievs this Lunar festival requires me to do “quite a bit” more work compared to Wintersday.

Edit:
I’d prefer to do more different activities, that require my skill rather then team based performance.

Let me hit 5 players with fireworks outside of dragonball instead of 5 wins…

I don’t know if they’re gonna reward mastery points or anything, I do know I’m saving them in my bank just in case

Anyone else who think these dragon ball arena achievements are a bit much?
- Win 5 games of Dragon Ball.
- Play 2 rounds of Dragon Ball.

During Wintersday you had to compete / complete once.
- Complete 1 Wintersday JP
- Survive 1 round of Bell Choir
- Donate 1 copper

All the wintersday achievements were based on your performance.
Playing 2 rounds of dragonball, fine that’s to deal with.
Though to win 5 games of dragonball (Where your team decides the game, you can’t win if your team isn’t good)

So if players are lucky, they get the achievement within 5 consecutive matches.
Rewards for this: 2 AP

Besides the fact I think you’ve got to do a lot more for less, the Dragonball arena isn’t rewarding Anything! You don’t get envelope’s or some dragon bag…

Where the Wintersday activities granted you large wintersday thingies :P

New dailies make you do more for less reward in comparison with Wintersday 2014.
