There is no chest icon on map, it is near the portal to lion arch etc. I almost missed it too but then noticed, ugly chest.

There is a “hidden” item near that place where the unbreakable wall is. I just spammed my AoE’s near that place, even after I destroyed it already once. And it worked.

Technically you’d never buy a ticket, because until you do you won’t ever win. But thanks for adding to the discussion and keeping the thread relevant. I think the point to take away for that post is that Anet won’t sell, as many, lotto boxes if the customer never wins.

A method they could use in future is the hook a duck method.

I buy boxes from the cash shop.
each Box has 1x random festive item & 1 golden ticket (potenially tradeable item)

Golden tickets are used to buy Skins and Mini’s or whatever they have at the time in the event.

Using current event as example. You open a box and have a chance at getting a Mini but if you don’t get the mini you wanted you also still get a golden ticket. 20 golden tickets (or pick a number) = 1 mini pet = happy customer who didn’t feel fully screwed with box after box containing junk they didn’t want.

Actually I think this was a nice move from ANET. Almost everybody loves quaggans, they put one in RNG box, with 3 other minis and some crap stuff you know = Great way getting money, because its so RNG also quaggan.
In player opinion, I didn’t like it too much. I had to buy like 60 chests to get all 3 pets and make one quaggan. Not to mention I have 2 golems and 2 flying robots in my bank.

Tl;dr : Great way to make money from bussiness view. Such a dissapointment from player view. But if we could buy what we want. (For example 4 minipet collection 1600 gems or something ) ANET wouldn’t make so much money.

Hey guys, can any GM confirm how to make Quaggan?
I know you need minipets, but can you use Golem, Golem, Snowman for example?
Or do I need Golem, Flying thingy, Snowman?
Because I got 2 flying thingys and 2 golems. :<

I think we need to fight against toys? ;O

I am huge fan of cooking in this game. So what you guys think, we will get in new patch?

I am wondering why people complain about karka event rewards? I got about 2g worth of items from that event, because I was level 32 at the time. Point of the event wasn’t getting a precursor. Anet never said that it will be a reward. Others got lucky, why complain about it?
Everyone got a free 20 slot bag and a ancient karka shell. That’s a great reward.
Only thing I can understand is that you didn’t get your chest, but otherwise complaining isn’t going to give you a precursor. It isn’t unfair for others getting it, they got lucky.

I personally enjoyed the event, friday was a lagfest but saturday and sunday were amazing. Altough the sunday event got boring after 2 hours, but it was still epic.

Urgh.. But I enjoy staff too much :l

Hi, I have lvl 80 elementalist with full healing gear. Also I got some vitality, toughness and condition damage. I can solo monsters in level 80 areas easily, but in the end is healing gear worth it? Around 1050 healing I still dont heal too much. Only way is to geyser + healing rain + blast finisher (By myself or somebody else.)
I love supporting but most of people complain me to not being dps elementalist.
So should I buy new gear or what? :l

I know right. When you use speed boost (Lightning attument.) You autoattack mobs nearby. Staff auto-attack bounches and suddenly you have a horde of mobs behind you. Plus, you actually are slower because you entered combat..

How it isn’t? If they wanted us to have infinite salvage they woulda putted it right there..

So today patch updated game, so you can put pvp salvage kits into a Pvp locker.
I had a bad feeling about this, and the worst thing came true.

You can abuse this bug easily.
Just take all salvage kits out of pvp locker, use one salvage kit to salvage items.
For example now your one salvage kit got 10 charges, others have 15.
Put all kits back to pvp locker.
When you take them out, ALL OF THEM have 15 charges.
Please fix this I am afraid of salvaging pvp items now…

Hi, so I am looking for a guild.
My server is Piken Square.
I can use voice softwares just sometimes, when my parents are sleeping / not in home. Don’t ask why :P
I am a casual player mostly, who loves jumping puzzles (But sucks at them.) and love treasurers/chests and gold.
I am looking for a guild that is talktative, I don’t care how small it is, but if your guild is silent all the time, that’s just like not being in one at all. In other words, it gets lonely if nobody speaks with you.
I play PvE mostly of the time, and usually play support role.

Okay so I bought game like 2 days ago. It isn’t this thread point but anyway.
I registered code and started downloading patch.
Well meanwhile I came up with the idea to read forums while waiting.

Well there is alot of threads speaking about bans and such, so is it safe to play now?
Somebody said that saying “Gold” word gets you banned.
What you can say / do that won’t you get banned? And of course following game rules won’t get you banned, but you know what I meant.

Tl;dr:
Is it safe to play now? Will you get banned anymore? (Well if you don’t break any rules.)
