OMG you guys stop having alliance against us. You never touch each others BL this isn’t fair

ok this LAG is now ridiculous we have about 50+ literally running around not particularly doing anything and im getting people ping back and forth all kinds of lag now im pretty sure its not my pc or my internet connection as both of mine are better than average so please fix this incredible lag because right now this game is unplayable

so i just brought myself the molten beserker tonic and although it looks very nice im kind of disappointed that you cant “fight” in it doing costume brawl so that would be nice if you could consider that. Also i think it would be a cool idea to add the ripple effect that the molten beserker created when he jumped in the dungeon to the tonic. Thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi ive been playing ranger now for a couple of months as my main character and now my guild is roaming more it came to me, where do i fit into this? i asked my self this as roaming generally is close combat and i use a long bow, i also do zerg so the long bow is useful for that. if you have any advice concerning roaming with a guild of around 10-15 as a ranger please let me know

trust me dude there is no alliance with dzag it even took what seemed like the entire server to kill us yesterday when us and PG were roaming in their BL. and it seems like most of us are probably focusing you due to the bad blood created from previous match ups…..

very fun fights in the top camp of dzag BL did u guys call in everyone from the server or something? :P

Funny, when a VoTF guy said in an earlier threat that you’d have to adapt and learn after we came into this match he was basically crucified and ridiculed. Even in this threat, not long ago someone used his post to degenerate a server.
Yet here we are, there are 10’s of posts with people claiming to have improved. People saying that their guilds have become better after fighting many larger and more well-coordinated groups and claiming that they’ve grown on their server as a whole by overcoming this seemingly impossible to beat threat.
Blobbers became the blobbed and vice versa, skilless became the skilled and vice versa.
People are accusing others of things their own server does as well and people generalize an entire server based on these people.

The highlight of today for me at least, was reading someone claiming that RoS prime time was Tier 8 quality at best. You’re talking to a server that won the T8 matchup for weeks on end with no more then two 10~man WvW focussed guilds and a PvX guild that had some activity in WvW.

But let’s not dwell on the past.
I’ve grown to like quite a few players who I’ve had the pleasure of playing with. I still have my prejudice and ill thoughts towards others, not players individually, but groups of people. But perhaps, in time, we’ll all be enjoying each other and have many fun times. Like those duels and GvG’s. Of course people find a way to complain about even that thought…

As current morning tick shows, RoS only scores points from pvdoor in the morning hours. Yet somehow this is fairplay and all above board to only attack when we have very few players online and to do it day after day. Yet somehow losing points when everyone is suffering disconnects is worse

The fact is Gunnars was going all out last night as score was less than 7k difference, disconnects was coincidental. Gunnars and Dzag have beaten RoS in primetime all week, and the only thing that has kept RoS from finishing rock bottom is morning caps. Mos Matchup score analysis for the week speaks for itself.

i personally find this quite offensive saying that all we do is PvD as i for one have been working my kitten off when commanding to ensure we dont get completly obliterated. the sad truth is for alot of the time this week we have been outmanned in EB and im guessing many people have RL commitments however despite all of this pressure and such it has been a fun and challenging matchup which i have learnt alot from….

wanna say thank you for such an awesome night in EB this evening, well played for everyone our server and both of urs. people were actually listening for once on RoS :O but great fights, some of the best fun ive had in WvW in recent times.

One of our premium guild leader, went to DZ teamspeak at 4.00 a.m and asked nicely to stop aatacking our borders since we had no people to defend and instead to attack RoS borders. Half an hour later, RoS borders was half blue and half red.
Bah don’t believe me mate, i totally made that story out of my head.

do you not read other posts we have agreed to end this now and it probably wasn’t an alliance just very annoying to deal with so much kitten at once. THE END

Sure one man doesn’t represent the server at all, that’s why people here await response from one specific guild, especially when the cheater happens to be member of not some random guild, but a good and respected one on RoS server.

The fact he is cheating is undeniable, even if the glitch was random and he wasn’t intending to hack , just as people said above he didn’t port back or anything, he proceeded in deliberately exploiting the glitch.

i have spoke to one of the leaders of DEX. he might come and explain this aswell im not sure but the player in question appeared to get “stuck” in the texture of the floor when building an AC. They tried the same thing today and the same thing happened of course he could have waypointed away like an honest player but it is possible for him to have been in combat however i do not know but im here to just say that this wasn’t intentionally cheating merely a glitch

You must be joking. RoS are steamrolling our BL with a zerg of 50-60 people. We are lucky if we can muster 35 to defend. Not only that, some people in RoS seem to feel that cheating is OK too. i hope you know none of our guilds condone cheating and obviously it is a very rare case but i over more time of playing have seen hackers such as speed hacks and such the best thing to do is just report them if possible. the whole 60 people in your BL doesnt usually happen however sometimes the “main force” is taken to another BL to take stuff but as ive said before its usually guilds that focus on BL defending and attacking….

We had some nice fights against DZ last night – it seems though they think it’s normal in WvW for other servers to atack You, so they didn’t come to cry on forum about some imaginary alliance.

and did these fights happen in EB today……
and yes cool smart play and all that stuff but what im saying is GH Zerg/Blob vs Dzag zerg/Blob fights i have not seen once today and ive been on pretty much all day plz explain that…..

This morning the border of GH was occupied by Dzagonur and Surmia and both saerver attacked the garrison at the same time.

Your problem is that you stack all your player in a huge zerg, even for a tower defended by 2 person (hell even to chase two mesmers lol). The solution is simple: learn to split you forces.

we are the server that probably has the most coverage in this match up… we have about 4 – 5 guilds covering borders and then we have the main force in EB so plz dont you tell us how to split forces. i bet ur just saying that so you can take all our points easier……

Ahahaha pls do not make me laugh. Every time we meet a group of RoS the only thing they can do is run toward the zerg. You zerg to do everything, and so far, with some exceptions, I’ve never seen a small group of RoS in the borders, only noobs that run toward the zerg.

Again, learn to split your forces, you don’t need a de-skilled zerg to do everything,
specially when you outnumber your foes, ’cause even one char can conquest a supply camp.

p.s.

I care very little about the points, we do roam in 3/4, so we enjoy little fights, and if we are outnumbered is more fun. Mine is just a suggestion, if you enjoy the zerg… good luck

funny you say we dont need a zerg, this week and last GoA has been doing more roaming in BL with no more than 15 at any 1 time due to new commanders coming and stuff and we have encountered many fights with the majority of the wins going to us…. so again i think we know how to split our forces just fine and as many people have already stated dzag are doing well at the moment due to holidays and im not sure where exactly GH are pulling these numbers from tho

since when have we asked for an alliance dude?

A good reset. I guess night/morning capping will disrupt scores but hopefully primetimes can be like this all week.

i hope primetimes arent anything like what it was in EB. Major lag fest, even tower capping bar was having difficulty going up

Vcy are doing very well, it only took their 50 man zerg an hour to get a wooden wall down on bay.

One does not simply take down a wall. One must conduct a proper health and safety inspection and carry out the appropriate checks.

Firstly we had to determine if the foundations of the wall will allow it to crumble in a manner which will not danger any spectators.
Secondly we had to ensure that spectators had the correct hard hats to protect themselves from any falling rubble.
Third, we had to inspect the wall up close to ensure we used the correct siege equipment. Once we had decided on that piece of equipment we then had to calculate the trajectory and speed at which to launch the boulders.
Fourth, it is vital that the area around the demolition zone remain spectator free. The last thing VcY corporation need is another legal case involving a flying boulder to the face.
And lastly. A champagne party for a successful demolition.

have they done something to CoF P1 that they arent telling us? just did a run with my normal party and the last boss was ridiculously hard to kill getting over 10 stacks of regen most of the time and its never normally been that hard to kill it

Hi guys i was commanding in EB today from about 3 to 9 in the afternoon and i just wanted to say it was very enjoyable even though we wiped a few times we managed to get own own back on a few occasions and to the Dzag guys who were camping lake in our BL you guys were very annoying and also when i heard about the login being down i thought that would be a good time to strike for GH valley i hope everyone enjoyed themselves today was fun and hope it continues

jordiboy without riot and vcy you guys would never have stod a chance here(this is based of the fact that DZ is allready pulling 40k leads on the other two servers and we are about the same as them in fighting strength) not saying that the other guilds in RoS dont do anything but without Riot and Vcy you guys would have been dominated in this tier so much

Im not saying RiOT and VcY havnt helped the server out but before they joined we were still winning our match up and by some margin and yes i agree there cant be much difference in style of play between the tiers but obviously the numbers and coverage helps out and allows other guilds that were already here to do their own thing rather than having to be forced into things….

I just want to point out even in tier 8 and before the new guilds had joined us we were doing fine and even the “casual” players were taking it seriously some even taking charge when at times there wasn’t any commanders around

please guys stop making this out to be GH and RoF against VcY and RiOT. yes its true they have come from a much higher tier but as they have already said they didnt enjoy it there for many reasons but lets face it they could have gone to any other server even one of yours. Now please can we try and enjoy ourselves from now on, after all its only a game

hi there i just want to say thank you for this match up it has been fun whilst it lasted and i hope some disagreements didnt ruin the experience for everyone. yes at times each server can have more people than other servers but i feel this has been a very enjoyable and fair match up and good luck to both WSR and Aborstone for the future
