Those two places are where you get the axe and sickle, I’ve yet to find a place to buy an orichalcum pickaxe with karma.
I’m guessing a healing skill means any skill in your sixth skill slot, as they’re called ‘healing skills’. I don’t think other ones would count as they’re utility or weapon skills.
It would help us if you told us what zones the missing waypoints were in, and listed which ones you had already there.
Off the top of my head, there’s a quaggan village in Southern Timberline Falls that I had trouble with. It’s in a cave and while a certain event was on, it vanished instead of merely becoming contested. Finishing the event fixed this.
You get a back brace during the personal story quests at around level 30, and another at level 80. The only other armour you can get that goes into this slot are the guild backpacks that you can buy from the guild armourer, and the engineer starter backpack if you choose it.
