We’ve had an insane amount of enemies disconnecting in downed state. To the tune of much more this week than the entirety of playing this game at the 3-day headstart.

YB map watchers extraordinaire. Kharma train leaving station. Another week with a mega zerg earning hollow wins. But each week we are getting better fighting and our smaller units are wiping larger YB more often.

The fun has been gone so we have to be creative. So when you see us dancing or laughing when you return exactly as the buff on our towers is up please don’t be sad or think its a tactical win on your part either.

Seeing SE take OW and try Veloka was funny. Another IOJ guild who left at the eleventh hour to a larger server. Seems odd that CORE did the same thing jumping to FA but hey what better way to improve your odds by reducing another servers odds after you helped get us into silver. Imagine if honor and loyalty mattered and IOJ had those 50 or so members that hamstrung us. Hmmm. Happy Hollow Victories.

Except that our server is not playing it smart and letting both servers back-cap stuff for all to enjoy a karma train. There’s not reason not to, but whatever… the actual WvW guilds can keep logging on and struggle to find something to do.

From where most of the people on the hill were sitting, they were all just watching and talking in party chat then all of the DB came through and tried wiping the spectators. Clearly we both saw different things and we chocked it up to your frustrations.

That said, thanks DB for bringing some fights in your Borderland tonight. We had a really rough wipe near your spawn at NW tower once your second wave hit. Rough times, but the fights in Garrison were awesome… many on both sides just dead (many many Yaks).

I’m the leader of AciD and I want to give some respect where it’s due.

I want to give some shout outs to some folks on NSP. I know one of us trashed talked you into 1v1’ing (which you won) and I’m glad it happened. We went into a 3v3 against XOXO, and I show you guys much respect. You’re the regular guild we find out in the open and actually small-man fight and many of you are really strong. I look forward to many more fights out in the wilds. We won the 3v3 (I was the thief) against XOXO and we will be willing for a rematch.

Later fought an 2 [Holy] and 2 [SPCA] in a set of 4v4’s. We learned a lot from that. We tried with our roaming specs and you were too CC and tank for us to do any real damage to. Kudos! We tried mixing it up a bit and things got better, but you guys still gave us a 4v4 lesson (I was the mesmer who lived at the end of it). I’m thankful for it and hope to revisit this with you guys sometime soon. Again, much respect from me.

SBI whining about emotes, yet on an entirely green map, some SBI guy kept playing turtle with SE tower bearing this guild tag “Really Bad Players [Yaks]”.

With that said, I’m pretty sure you’d agree that calling out an entire server over some individuals is pretty dumb.

For some reason, even if SBI is wrecking us harder than FA did, I kinda like these guys. AciD had a fun time yesterday 1v1’ing some of you in IOJ BL. Out in the field, whenever we get someone adding to our party, we expect to get all manner of insults but instead we’re getting ‘Good fights’ and ‘that was awesome’… kinda refreshing actually.

Gold Tier rejects are hardcore about YB. Kinda flattering.

Believe me, none of us think we’ve won yet. FA is not laying down and even CD hasn’t given up yet. We fully expect to bite, steal, scratch, and bleed for whatever place we get this week. Just because we can field some numbers doesn’t mean we’re rolling our faces over the keyboards to win. We have a lot of people working tirelessly for how we do.

Well, when I was on JQ, your naval talents were pretty much useless. We’ll take our chances.

AciD has run afoul of some pretty nasty condi’s from those two guilds. Props there and for being the only decent roaming enemy tags I’ve seen this matchup.

Get rid of upscaling too, then, and make everyone true 80. Oh, and Legendary weapons as well since they have ascended stats.

Honestly, I don’t think ascendeds have won as many fights as you’d think.

If I screencap’d every opposing zerg I saw, I’d run out of disk space quite fast.

See? It’s like you can’t even see beyond the population thing.

IDK, 4 of us killed 8 of you outside of Hills. I’ve seen 30 of you run from 15 of us. Hell, 3 of us fought off 10 of you near the NW sentry, downed 4, and finally ended up fleeing. Also, you all (on both ET and SF) really like your glassy builds. It’s predictable to see you to blow your loads, then get caught with no cooldowns. It happens to the few roamers I’ve seen. But I’ve seen zerg fights where you either had the same numbers or greater where you’re just dripping trails of bags because it’s like people in zergs are allergic to PVT armor…

I’m 100% sure the PPT is entirely because of WvW populations. We get it and I’m not going to apologize for YB karma trains. I’m not going to apologize for fairweather’s ill behavior or anyone else’s for that matter. However, don’t hide behind false hyperbole.

Yak’s Bend was where you are now, against Dragonbrand and then Maguuma for months. We know the feeling. Your servers definitely have room for improvement. And you know what else? Yak’s Bend has a ton of room for it too.

As far as WvW being pointless? I don’t know if I agree. I’d say it’s more pointless for us. I know of multiple pure WvW guilds on YB who called it PvE this week because… why bother?

Yup so i guess all we can do is not play and then suddenly they wont have anyone to spawn came.

Either way I saw zero roamers from YB, only zergs and smaller zergs. Since all i do is roam its not even worth my time to log in.

That’s the effect it had on the YB roamers too. Why roam when the matchup is so messed up that when we see a group of 8 and 3 of us charge, everything runs? Our roam squad was 3 regulars and a newer guy and wiped 8 confused zerglings… hardly a worthwhile venture. In my opinion, all 3 servers suffer in this weeks pairings.

I won’t apologize for anything. The server is just doing what it will do. You can complain if it makes you feel better. You can tell yourself the circumstance hasn’t made it a giant numbers clash of skill #1 mashers because trains are profitable.

But until it’s worth it to get a squad of 3-5 guys to roam around, don’t expect to see us fighting you over lustnodes or camps. This might be a wvwxp paradise for Yaks Bend’s Lions Arch idlers, but it’s a roamers backed up toilet for the week.

This is some disappointing trolling up in here…

It must be frustrating to have guys like Wick transfer from Dragtanic the instant it starts to sink and bandwagon onto success that older guilds from SBI helped build up. Oh well, I guess SBI likes the yo-yo effect of mass exodus followed by mass bandwagoning.

That’s why here at Maguuma, we actively discourage terribad PvD guilds like NNK from joining our server. We’d much rather have a tight-knit community of good players looking for fun fights than a watered-down, warm-body-loving, siege-amassing, bandwagoning community, like some other servers.

Well, you don’t know us, and I have no more to say.

We would have been in Magg more if Backcap Bend wasn’t living up to their name (ONE guild is main offender). As it has been previously pointed out we have already defeated yall twice (who cares really) in the ppt game when faced with three equally rated servers. Also as stated by an outside objective opponent to both of us is that we have outplayed yall all week.

We haven’t backcapped during any of the 5 WvW nights I participated in, so I’d like at least an example of [One] being ‘main offender’.

Also, Maguuma is anything but ‘outside objective’. They pretty much thrive on getting reactions out of people by talking forum trash. That said, with [RAM]’s force of like 20 guys usually taking care of EB and [WAR] and others leaving, a huge chunk of people being overworked have just stopped, what do you expect?

CD should have been in second place all week. Why weren’t they?

You’ll always beat us. You have infinitely more people. So… grats yourself.

And I’ve been invited into groups where your leader has invited himself after dying, crying like a virgin. Keep it up DARP! Keep that swag up Mag! I’ll enjoy reading your threads where you complain about being outzerged by DB soon!

If you keep us from 3rd, it’s a big ‘so what’ to me. But really, this is where you’re going with it? Forum warriors aside, what do you have to gain from it? If that’s our lot – so be it. But if there’s a logical reason other than being diiicks when you’re big fish in a little pond? Yet being PVE warriors when you’re outnumbered yourself, that’s pretty shameful. I’ll be anxiously watching when you fight DB next.

And a join venture with CD/Mag keeping our garrison. It’s just magswag, I guess.

Nope, look at any thread where Mag was paired against DB and draw your own conclusions. From my perspective, friends of ours from Mag said ’we’re going to push you to third’, then seeing a Mag zerg pass a CD/YB fight, then seeing a CD and Mag zerg hit us at once all in the span of very little time. What would you think?

CD working with Mag is totally hilarious. That’s pretty low, especially for a server that cries and goes afk when they get paired against Dragonbrand.

I also think running a half-dozen commander tags is effective.

Well, this will be as much fun as a sharpened pencil in the peehole.

Constant disconnects from USA – Georgia – AT&T UVerse. Works fine when not during peak times. The rest of the internet works fine. Every other online game works fine. The kitten Playstation works fine. Guild Wars 2 is literally the only problem.

Gratz on outnumbering us. I hope it gets you laid.

I’m okay with it because it doesn’t affect me directly. It does concern me a bit that it’s killing WvW for other people, which isn’t good in the long run. Also, any of our servers could be gargling DB Mayonnaise next week. So that could be terrible.

I was in Yak’s Bend before it was cool.

So I wasn’t there, but I heard about it on our TS last night from a few of my guildies.Yak’s Bend did you guys really have to use those Super Adventure Boxes enmasse on your attempt on hills. I mean funny, but really why? You just made the fight one big lag fest or at least it appeared to be an attempt to cause a ton of lag.

Uh, we thought it was YOU guys who used the Super Adventure Box! We were all like ‘Well, this is a first – defending south outer hills with… Boxes.’ It definitely wasn’t part of any greater strategy on whoever did it, but for some reason we thought you guys were throwing a party inside the gate judging by how congregated you were when we hit the south gate.
