@op

this works for me, run the game with the command line “-nosound”

You shortcut should look something like “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -nosound"

here’s more info on how to do this:

Let me personally thank you for this.

Better call the fun police… ANet can’t let loose one gag one day of the year.

Maybe because it doesn’t adversely affect you so you could causally say that. For a minority of us who feel sick after playing the game, it isn’t a prank, this ruin the rest of the day for us. Depending on your condition, the side effects may last for a few hours.

Play GW2 in a smaller windowed mode.

It isn’t really helping since the overly large heads and are bobbling still there.
I am looking for ways to turn it off.

The giant head prank is making me feel dizzy and suffer slight nausea due to how everything look disproportional and how the giant head keep bobbling whenever you move. I am wondering if there is any way to turn this off or is the only choice I have is to wait for the event to be over.

Thanks.

The problem with Guild Wars 2 has nothing to do with Lion’s Arch. GW2 feel so different from GW1 that you would think they are two separate games with the same name.
