All of the attunement specific traits need to be buffed, especially the 15-20% reduced cooldown ones.

An elementalist’s earth attunement is like a weapon for another class with longer cooldowns to make up for the fact that we have 4 “weapons”

20% shorter earth cooldown is much weaker than (for example, not picking on warriors) Sundering Mace: 20% shorter mace cooldown and 10% more mace damage to weakened foes

For example, this could be changed to 20% shorter earth cooldown, and earth attacks have a 20% chance to apply a 2s cripple

Aside from attunement specific traits, we need more utility or damage in our traits.

Even for a fire/air/crit/damage build there is a lot to be gained from doing a tour of all the other elements. Just because you can roll through a lot of long cooldowns. Staff as an example, but scepter/x can do it just as well:

Air – stun (if mob is moving), AE blind, single target knockback. This is all support
Water – AE chill and large damage vuln attack. Heals also if necessary
Earth – blind, AE massive bleed, single target immobilize with damage and bleed, personal projectile reflect

As long as you have 20+ in arcance, by the time you roll through all of that, you can get back to fire and all of your cooldowns besides meteor shower are back up. I usually do a tour of the elements right after putting fire #2 and #3 on cooldown. The above is more damage and much more support than fireball spam and one extra lava font. Chill is a massive DPS drop for most mobs.

An element up/down button that could be bound to the scroll wheel would be great for a lot of people if you could define the order in which the elements scroll. It would also mimic the next/prev weapon function in a lot of shooters.

Example:

I’m in fire. Mouse wheel up gets me water, mouse wheel down gets me earth. If I really want air, I can hit F3 or the a bind I’ve set.

As it is, I keep F1 for fire, and have 3 Naga side buttons defined for water/air/earth. But it doesn’t flow as well a “next weapon” setup would

Charr looks horrible when running with swiftness up. We need to 4-leg all the time when out of combat
