I’ve played WvW pretty frequently and I swear I’ve never seen this HB commander people are constantly referring too.

Maybe because he stopped playing the day after BG won, and if you were here before that, many times he would run without commander tag because he liked the 15-20 man groups that would reap havoc on zergballs and usually Waypoint port every few minutes. If you weren’t in his TS channel you wouldn’t know he and HB even existed other than where they were, things were being flipped, rapidly and efficiently. It was a style that many of us enjoyed and actually put in extra hours to be a part of because it was constant pressure and amazing battles. As went Smokee, went BG, and when he left, trying to find these type of battles and strategy are not easy to find. Heres a video of what is was like runnin with HB , has his tag on a few times and is the one on TS. The Hammer warrior you see is also a great commander and fun to run with.

From what I understand, Smokee left due to work. I think he wen to the airforce or something iirc.

JQ has a higher WvW population than other servers. The general population including PvE of the top 3 NA servers is a lot closer than folks would think.

Yeah, I think a high % of the folks on JQ play WvW at least part of the time – a lot of players bounce back and forth between PvE, Dungeons, Fractals and WvW.

In fact I don’t even know any PvE-only players. Can’t think of a single one.

This weekend I had to guest to a different server to level an alt in PvE doing events. I tried in JQ but I was all alone

A few people want BG out of t1, but why? Are you not having fun? I am for sure. Some of the most fun fights have been in this matchup thanks to SoR & JQ bringing the paintrain. That 3-way in JQ bay 2 days ago, the garri fights, epic lord room of Hills, and many more. Yes, the overall population has dropped the past few days, but that doesn’t mean BG is dead.

All 3 of our servers have a tight community that has been playing together for months, with new additions. We won’t be going anywhere.

What did your community do with FOE and Agg? If you have a tight community they won’t leave no matter what. Win or lose, its about the community. Moral lesson: Don’t fkin pay guilds to transfer, do not buy any guilds. Don’t even show them gold.

Wait, you really think BG paid those server hoppers gold to tranfer? Ha.

Bout 4 hours ago on bgbl, SoR took the BG Gari, while JQ Portal camped any bg trying to enter to defend. JQ after SoR capped did fight Sor for the gari, but it was obvious what was going on. SoR and JQ were even waving at eachother. Then to come here and deny it sure ok, and jq lost last week cause of flame rams in there gari. While BG was running 570ppt.

To be honest I would’ve quit GW2 a long time ago if it wasn’t for FoO, they are at least fun to fight in open field and to be honest I’m only really in it for the fights. Admidedly when we’re down on numbers and have low support we do wipe a lot to FoO + DC +PuGs etc, but that is more an indication of numbers over skill. FoO is a very skilled opponent and when we have equal forces I would say that the fights are relatively even (relatively). <3 FoO, keep trucking we just get better and try to be better every night.

Confirmed TSym are moving to JQ for the 20k gold they were previously offered.

We had to bump it to 30k. It was only fair since we payed SF 45k when there was free transfers.
