TC had a lot more numbers than we did and it certainly wasn’t bragging just saying it was a lot of fun and a good fight, calm down please

I was happy to see TC out in force despite the score and day of the week etc.. a lot of other servers would have taken the days off

that was the most fun i’ve had in a long long time

FEAR on the lord room, TW on the portal

we setup trading post and vendor in the back of the lord room and fought that zerg for almost 30 straight minutes

selling and salvaging in turns lol

people’s hands were cramping.. it was AWESOME

amazing fights all night in TC BL, bay, hills, north camp etc..

we were trying to T3 and waypoint TC BL garrison lol, got really really close too before we lost it

I hope TC and SoS alike have learned some things so far this week, for better or worse.. just to see whakittens like up here (non condescending).. its what every week of JQ/BG/SoR is .. huge crazy number fights on every map all day every day pretty much

nice to see fresh faces/guilds/tactics out there

crazy fight in EB TC keep a few min ago

you guys kept swarming in after we would clear you out, i think you caught the waypoint 4 times?

surprised we pulled that off

any idea how many you guys had? looked like tons

yeah TC does seem to have a lot of longbow/bear rangers actually i noticed that myself

that being said having run on all the BL’s this weekend and watching TC as we’ve fought them…..

They haven’t been terrible, but you can see the differences in experience of servers playing in T1 and those that aren’t..

The farming of TC in their EB keep, and the holding of their garrison (almost waypoint now) for the last few days..

I have a video of Ace and [Fear] fighting TC in the EB keep with a tiny amount of people in a sea of red and just outplaying the entire TC blob and saving the keep, you see it slowly turn from red to green as TC gets wiped.

I think your commanders need to work on strategy a little more and try some things they don’t normally do, we openly sandwiched TC blobs repeatedly

a blob only goes so far without the coordination.

TLDR: keep practicing and keep your head up!

tornado is absolutely amazing in WvW, from knocking people off walls/cliffs/siege/gates etc.. to going through a mesmer portal and AOE knocking down large chunks of an enemy zerg so your guys can kill them..

also a well placed tornado in a choke point does wonders, most people run away from the tornado or try to, so they aren’t attacking half the time and it just leads to them getting chased down and stunned and dying

fiery greatsword has great utility in WvW as well, from moving quickly across the map, to using 3/4/5 skills against enemy zergs

glyph of elementals is more for 1v1 or pve encounters but still pretty effective..works great for soloing supply camps or sentries..

there are a lot of very effective uses for each.. just need to think ahead with them.
