Well i use shortbow only… What else can a ranger use that is good LOL? any tips for fighting thiefs? they usually just invisi and kill me pretty quick

And 1v 3 would be nice.

Anyone has a good ranger build for wvw?… perfer like tankyish but deal damage aswell im losing hope in this class :/

Early morning fights in AR borderlands. So dead, lol. So, myself and two guildies did a joke siege for fun, hoping to draw attention. One of us put down a treb this close to the wall for fun and… We got the tower. Only one ranger came over and over to defend. So dead Can see our lovely banner which will be removed by the time I wake up I imagine.

Personally I don’t think it is population of the servers that is the problem. I think it is the people on the server that WANT to play WVW. On BP we happen to have a great number of people that want to WVW, just like people just want to PVE. I can’t speak for other servers but WVW on BP is accessible and fun for whomever wants to come. Most stay because they have had a good experience, they are helped and have things explained by more experienced players. They are included in groups not shunned by guilds, we at BP don’t treat WVW as an exclusive playground for the big guilds, and if you come in you can’t run with them. Everyone is included in all the fighting, no one is told on chat that they are stupid, or go back to PVE, or to change your spec because you suck, or L2P, ever. We don’t put off people like that, so they come back, again and again, then they Re hooked and they tell their guild mates and friends. I am one of them. I hated PVP but I was bored one day and jumped to wvw. I was discouraged and didn’t know what was gong on. Luckily I saw in chat, everyone form up in Diasharo, and I just followed and had a good time, still didn’t know what to do, but it was fun. No one called me a noob and I clearly was one.

So that’s why I think we have numbers, because the people on BP want to play. do people on your server want to play with you? If they did am sure you would not have problems fielding enough to match up with anyone. Remember it’s a max of 160 per side per map. Not a kitten load. So before you start crying about population, look at yourselves and how you treat your server mates, because that is probably the case.

AR walked their golems in front of our cannons and they got destroyed. We jumped down from the wall and killed one as it crossed the bridge infront of overlook, while your zerg ran so far ahead they couldn’t do anything.

this kind of crap p/ses me off…

teh amount of times i have had to call out people/server for trying to recruit players in the own Battle thread is just sickening, trying to recruit from ET, a Server that lost almost everything, is insulting to us and NOT a Valid tactic.

The reason i am saying this is because we are still losing players (Gaining some, but not enough) and recruiting in WvW Battle thread is only putting petrol onto the fire and isn’t helping ET out at all, only making things worse.

Sorry that my wording may seem mean, but i just get upset at how servers recruiting our players, that we need, but not just that as i have seen this type of recruiting over the past 3-4 weeks straight in our threads.

btw, not calling out specific people or anything, but this recruit tactic has to stop, it only demoralizes those who you fight.

A lot of AR’s numbers are coming from people getting done with PvE and just coming into WvW. We’ve seen a lot of people asking about what to do because they’re asking where to go, what to do. AR has always had numbers as well, but lack of organization. It’s gotten better…I’ll be first to admit to it. People are starting to work together that may not like each other for the betterment of the server.

I personally felt that this week we were going to be kinda heavy for this weekend, maybe a prediction…who knows. We’ll see how it goes for the week though.

Wait, when we said this about BP you basically called us all liars and said we were winning just because of numbers.

I remember lots of matchs back all BP did was stay in there borderlands while we fought SF or EB… HA

I would like to say that AR did good today.. we had number issues like always but we try to not give up. We tryed to hold hills from gom with only 8 – 10 ppl and they had 20+ but we never gave up ^^

Obvious borlis got more ppl… few matchs ago they could not even hold there own bl. And when they do they start massing up at eb then get pushed back then all borlis stop trying below 25k points LOL.

Well that was a joke. Just lost the orb in Anvil Rock because people seem to think defending a tower was more important than defending the orb. 6 people defending the orb, 15 defending the tower. GG. It sucks I love Borlis Pass too much to leave it.

I did see the hackers and I did tell them to stop it we want a legit win and don’t need it. Some of the most epic battles i’ve had at the bay with anvil rock have been simply amazing . I was the commander who built a treb and got backstabed by nimms. 0.0 anyways the fight was actually epic and we hold bay for 3days + and then you guys finally came back 3x stronger breaking 3 of our gates killing supplys, Hiding thiefs behind bluevale supplys over 5+ trebs very nice wish Anvil had as much wvw ppl.!!
